It is possible for a BH to never loose charge on a seeker droid...

Been that way for quite some time now. Devs don't care.

I've stopped selling probes + Arakyds' because of this. I had sold TONS, only to have BH's tell me they don't need any more (after running a factoryschematic of several hundred).

BH's can go waste someone elses' time.

In contrast however, is there any chance we might receive UXP off these? Maybe? =)

What is funny is when they took the probes and seekers out of the NPC vendors and gave them to us, we got the hoards of BH's ranting and raving about how we were gourging them for prices.....

Huh. That would explain why I haven't sold a single seeker.

Well isn't that f**king nice. I was wondering why all my BH customers dried up.I had several of them that I gave good bulk order discounts and now zip. Motherf**cking S**T.

Well there is supposedly an established method of reporting this, since I doubt most BHs will report, we should. Here's the thread where Taurin asks for a private message on the exploit:

Perhaps if a few of us brought it to his attention we help the problem along towards its completion.

Just to update you guys the devs responded to the seeker droid bug in one of our threads so expect that (well you can cross your fingers at least) that it will be fixed soon.

Sorry, that comment was undeserved.

The BH thread on the matter was somewhat disturbing, though... a number of the posts were telling the origional poster that he was a "moron" for posting a useful BH bug on the forums... even though it did hurt the DE's.

Unfortunately, Sketh, I have found that the more irritating, anti-social and cheat-loving types are also often very vocal about it.

It was good to see some support for the DE side on that thread as well. I was... rather careful about composing my reply, trying to set a proper tone with it, and the responses did ease my mind just a little bit.

Temporary solution to help US anyways... (now keep in mind this is just a fleeting thought running 'round random through my brain) Just keep selling seekers, but charge an extremely steep price for each one. I'm talking HUGE price. On your vendors in the product description to the right, leave a small explantion that due to the current exploit/bug concerning unlimited use Seekers... the price will be high to make it fair to DE's. We have to be compensated somehow, and its not gouging them. If they get 1000 uses out of the thing, why shouldnt we charge ahead of time knowing full well they can get that and more? Complain if they want to, but who else is going to make Seekers for them?
