I WANT TO CRY
Only its not manly enough for a commando to do. So im going to initiate a blood-letting instead, which i will offer to pagan gods, since theyre usually more bloodthirsty
ETG,
Don't cry. Dry your eyes. The fact that both of the art and such to make these possible is happening (albeit as a mob/NPC), it doesn't take much to nudge that our way.
I suspect that these are exactly the kinds of things a DH/DC could expect to have and use. Unless I'm told otherwise by a red-name, that seems a reasonable assumption (for those keeping an eye on the DE 'thing' over lo' so many months).

Hmm... I guess the Devs were farther along in the DH/DC idea than I was thinking. Obviously they had the art and animation done on higher powered droids and didn't want it to go to waste.
/sigh...
If I had known it was an "all or nothing" deal, I would have gone along with the DH/DC idea.

Yeah, doesn't it piss you off ?? What a great concept this 'open communication' turned out to be. I don't know why they didn't just lay out the options to begin with and say "you can have either this or that, nothing else will be considered." If DC was our bottom line, I would have lived with it. Certs are better, but I could live with the DC.
I dont like the idea of the DC, just because I cant see them making it any different than a CH, but since ive whored out my character out of DE already, it just doesnt matter much to me anymore. I'd just do anything to get them.
/sniffles
I honestly believe that most of the average game players would about as soon own one of these than be a Jedi. Perhaps sometime in the future, another Star Wars-based game might 'get it' and provide these for the players. (How did we arrive at such a sillyoutcome as we have now.....sigh)

No, we just got screwed out of just about everything. Star Wars Galaxies..... Droid?.... whats that?
But at least we can be assured that the "pure crafter" camp is quite happy with this arrangement. They can continue to sell their R2 units and mute protocol droids to the other "pure crafters" in this game. Meanwhile, we'll get new...um...Entertainer Modules and Herald Modules. Yeah, THIS was a fair trade-off.
