I WAS an artisan, now i'm a novice architect, and i found out the hard, very hard, way that's not the way to go. Is DE better? Little help i'm actually asking this time so i don't go through that again!

Take a look around.

Drouds are broken.

The grind is insane.

The devs are not only ignoring us, they are effectively telling us to shut up and take it.

Boy are you about to hear an earfull.

By the way everyone has been complaining about how no one listens to use, the nerfs we endure, the lack of useful droids I would say... Become a Tailor or Chef.

All professions it seemsthat relies on combat types are getting shafted, but hey if you like the abuse and toil of gratitudeless drudgery, welcome aboard.

Some would say it's more of a "support group" than a "profession".

If you're willing to wait (a long time) it has potential.

My answer is YES.

Now, let me point out that I am not evena droid engineer yet.I know some of you may be thinking, "well whadda you know about it then, pal?" or maybe even "abandon all hope ye who enter here! turn back while you can!"

Well, I'll tell ya. I know one thing: I love droids. I have loved them ever since I was 7 years old and first fell in love with R2-D2. I spent much of my adolescent years trying to figure out how to build my own robots.

Now, 27 years later inSWG, even after monitoring all the many complaints in this forum--all of which I heartily agree with--I'm not at dissuaded. In fact, Iameven more bound and determined to stick it out and become a droid engineer.

Why? Because I love droids and I believe in this profession, I recognize how *vital* droids are to the SW universe... and those of us who feel the same way don't stick it out and fight for what we believe in, the profession will continue to suck, and everyone suffers.

It's up to us, the droid lovers, to keep it going. We HAVE to keep going.

So again, my answer is YES

I love droids too, which is why I'm working to be a droid engineer, (hoping that the Devs will change the way things are), but there are no droids in this game. So...

No
