These patch notes were posted for weeks already. Why is it a surprise to anyone that CH's are making a killing selling mounts? We've known for awhile now that this patch wasn't going to help us at all.

So, we've already spoken. And the devs have spoken. They're freer now to work on us. Let's see what the next patch brings for us. 'sides nothing major will happen in the next 4 weeks no matter how loud we yell. Be patient just a little longer....or Not (ie. click "cancel"). It's really our choice.

I think most of us are through being calm. We've been calm, patient and mature for months....whats it gotten us ? A couple of nerfs.

If you haven't noticed, the only people to get fixed are those that rant, rave and basically take over the general board.

The time for calm has passed.

Aiyee is right. We all knew this was coming and it makes perfect sense that the CHs will gouge the markets. Once supply and demand equilibriate the costs of the mounts will go way down. If what we've been told about vehicles being faster than mounts is true the long-term demand for mounts won't be great. What we're seeing on all the servers is temporary, very temporary.

No you know whats next on the plate...Vehicles. Its been stated over and over again that the development team had 3 priorities...cities/mounts/vehicles. I don't see ANY droid fixes for months down the road. SOE *gives filtered finger*

Calm quit DE to be a CH.

It is a total farce how much time the devs have devoted to the least Star-Warsy profession in the game. CH has gotten the benefit of the doubt at every turn, and all we've gotten since launch is the Probot nerf, a complete loss of the ability to craft droids for 3 days, and (ooh!) colorization of droids. On top of that, there is a complete revamp of the CH profession in the works for the next publish. You think CH needs a revamp more than DE does? If you do, you're on crack or something.

Thank you my fellow Radiant server DE.. I love the way you put it too.. I sincerely think that this batch of DE are a bunch of pushovers.. Plain and simple timid little sheep.. Bah Bah.. Obviously we need to do it a different way and is why I am on strike.. On radiant even the players support my strike and feel for us!! Does that not say sumthin?? I think it says a lot..

One potential customer said.. "Elitros can you please make me a R2 droid". I felt so bad and told him why I was on strike.. He replied "I understand that, thank you for explaining this to me and I will hold off until you get some word about whats being done for DE".

So if you get "Combat Droids" you will refuse an offer of 250K on the day of release?

I am sure all of you will sell for a reasonable price!!! LOL

So DE is not fixed yet..... Nothing is fixed Yet!!!

BTW i am not a CH I came into the DEforum to ask a question about droids and got a bunch of negative feedback. I am a doctor (Drex'l on Naritus)

HanDrexel, I have not seen an instance where anyone has flamed you. There are a bunch of negative things on these boards at the moment, but I'd venture to guess that most of the DE's that havestuck around since launch are passionate about our profession. The ones that are not as passionate have dropped DE and have chosen other ventures. The droid is essential to Star Wars canon, we simply want this game to follow it.

So to answer your question, if/when we do ever get combat droids, it will mean the devs have at least attempted to fix our profession, that's what a lot of DE's are striking for. So, yes I'm sure the strike will end when some fixes/additions to our profession have been implemented, and the DE's will go back to selling droids.

If it helps my shop in Bestine on Radiant has had a sign that says "Temporarily retired till devs fix this proffession".

My shops sign reads...

"Montgomery's Droidworks (Closed pending SOE fixing Droid Engineers)"

i will not sell combat droids for 250k unless they are worth 250k.

This is a fact. Ive been watching it happen for nearly 5 months. Those who spam the general board with the same complaint being rewarded for every topic are the ONLY ones in this game who get results. The rest of us get the same old hallow promises "We're discussing, or planning or working on... blah blah blah".

It’s very easy to make Credits being a MDE, become a MWC as well and just forget you’re a MDE for a while.

Where is my IG-88 blueprint?
