Thread: 50 Advanced R3 Droids

I'd run low on Adv R3 chassis, as well as most of my stock of subcomponents. So I decided to make a run of 50 Adv R3 chassis with a new run of all the necessary components.
I'd never done the math before...
1,285 sub-components to make the 50 chassis!
(Includes the few extra components needed to make schematics.)
So now I've got 50 chassis. Add 2 combat socket clusters, 2 armor modules and 6 other modules...
50 Advanced R3 droids use approximately 1,835 items that need to be crafted!
I didn't even attempt to calculate the amounts of the various resources needed to make all the items.

Don't forget that R3s need 2 adv. droid brains from a factory crate...heh.

yea, I do them in batches of 100. PITA, but yiu gotta do it in volume. I run six factories non-stop.

Ya must have help with resources then >< I've got 2 factories going and all my other lots going to harvs 100% of the time and I can't keep up with resources... if not tell me your magic trick! I could use it lol

Those are included in the 1,287 component count. 4 EGP and 4 EMM per Adv Brain x 2 per chassis.
My hat's off to you guys who make large runs of chassis'. I had never made a large run before and was amazed at the sheer amount of components I had to create. For some reason I didn't have 800 electronic memory modules lying around.

I have been running my five factories non-stop for the last three days just for the subcomponets needed for 100 Adv R3 chasis i need. By tomorrow i should be making droids. I wonder if any other crafters go thru this.

Yeah, the limiting factor for R3s are always the Adv Droid Brains which needed 4xGP and 4xMM.
A full run of 1K GP and 1K MM will only get you 125 Adv R3s.

I'm just starting up two runs of 123 R3 chassis. I don't even want to crunch the numbers on that.

Its much more economical to only use 1 level 6 armor module, less factory time too.

Try making um all R-bombs,, ive done 2 runs of 125 just recently something like 80k tollium 40k copper and something else, took me all week with 8 factories..
Now im working on R2 chasis.. getting back into restocking my totally empty droid vendor,, well besides tons of mouse and R-bombs : )
btw its 16 total runs to make R-bombs,, 20 if you are making other types with varrious modules

Max run of Adv. R3s chassis are 498 8) in one factory run
4000 GP
4000 MM
999 Advanced Brains
498 Adv R3 Chassis
Its a lot of components and you will not have the room to put it all in the factory at once
