It requires 400 units of looted materials. Already they are showing up on the bazaar at 6000 credits for 1 unit! This means 2.4 million credits to complete the quest on top of the resource grind to get the tree. This is broken! I'm sure the devs did not envision the inequity of this. The combat types make money on their grind and have an easier time of it but we have to buy the resources to even start the quest! This has to be fixed and soon!

I agree its wrong but the materials is easy to get if you got some fighting skills. Kill of some siths (theres loads of them around the village) and youll soon have more looted materials than you can carry.

my combat alt has been doing the quests. I looted a dozen of those resource in less than an hour. Nearly every single sith you loot stuff from is carrying one. It'll take a while to accumulate enough to finish the quest, but that is the developers goal. If you try to take the short circuit path and buy them from other players instead....expect it to be expensive. /shrug

Do they spwan in the fog? It's not so bad if they aren't quest based spawns. But otherwise we'll have to steal combat quest spawns.

about that, I am not sure... i haven't actually done the crafting quests, i just know that I am looting tons of those resources from the patrol quests that the guy in the center of the village gives out.

Of they spawn randomly in the fog then that's ok. But you can't expect a crafter to unlock a combat path just to complete a crafting path. Then there is no other alternative to buy them in which we are getting gouged. If anyone has info on wether the Sith spawn anywhere please post here. Otherwise what will the combat folks do when we start kill stealing. I'm a master rifleman too. I can do that but I think that's a wrong thing to do and I shouldn't be forced to do that.

Now that's what this game needs to see! Crafters stealing kills from combatants!

Work with your friends. All of my Combatent friends are happy to give their resources away, they simply don't have the storage space.
How many crafters in your guild are doing it? Shouldn't be to hard to get them to donate to your cause.

no prob... I sell them for 1k on the bazaar..
And I'll give them away for free to anyone asking me in person. As I'm not planning on doing crafting quests, and you loot these ALOT from the sith shadows, charging 6k for em is just nuts.

I am getting them from my guild but there are alot of crafters in the guild. We could easily need over a thousand of each. And even if you sold them for 1000 credits each that is still 200k - 400k out of my pocket when all th eother quests can be done without relyng on someone else or buying the resources. You can't expect at least four professions to rely on people's niceness and sense of fairness. That won't work.
