Thread: Fastest and/or Easiest way to grind to Master?
(I posted this, already, but upon looking at the title, in retrospect I thought it could be read wrong. so I repost it with a much plainer title)
Well, first it was the grinding, then it was the, what? MONTH or so, of discouraging news and updates on the DE profession, in general. I was this close to becoming a traitor and going to being a CH/BE mix.
But now I'm back and I want to grind, grind, grind to get ready for oh.. two months, from now (I hope), when they add more droid schematics. .
I'm at 0-0-0-1, so can anyone help me with the fastest and/or easiest way to grind? Is it absolutely necessary to get to 0-0-0-4 before I do anything else or can I go for the crafting modules so I can make the adv mouse and DZ-70 more fun and useful to have around?
Help me to be the best a DE can be (currently, at least!
).
Thanks!
Cythar
Then sit yourself down and grind the same item over and over and over and over and over and over..............
And have plenty of Metal, and Fiberplast.
cost 150 Steel and 75 Firberplast to make each Unit.
And when you make them, keep some because your going to need them if you want to sell the higher end Droids.
So, then keep doing the MSE's from Novice until I get to 0-0-0-2 and then make?...
I'm used to the Steel-Fiberplast bit from grinding the MSE's up to Blueprints I. If you're telling me there isn't anything else, after that, then I would worry.
Case in point, many people in the Artisan world said that Bone Armor was the way to grind through Artisan and to the Elite professions.
However, my wife and I (she's an Architect, now), discovered that Carbosyrup and Blob candy did MUCH better and was, in fact, much easier to grind through until getting Domestic II, when we could grind through Plain Robes (Fiberplast panels and Fiberplast, that was it) which was even faster!
Now that I have Master Artisan, I found that the Nemoidian Bird Cages are great for ripping through profession costs (I did Armorsmith, didn't like it, and now I am already nigh Weaponsmith) with only a few K of steel.
So, basically, I'm saying "Is that it?" to the ADV Frame grind.
I'm not flaming, at all, and I apologize if that's what it sounds like, but that adv frame thing is like Bone armor to me.The first two responses just sound, well, basic and condescending, sorry. ![]()
Has anyone done it differently, I guess, is what I am really asking, here.

Grind DZ70's to get to Advanced Frames, then i'm afraid it's true, you're gonna grind Advanced Frames till your wrist snaps. But the good thing is you get 400+exp for each Adv Frame and they are simply 150 Steel and 70 Fiberplast. So you go very quick and you can see your experience advanced rather quickly
Good Luck and happy Grinding
Well, after going to Allakhazam's site and finding out what the true name of adv frames was (advanced droid frame unit, in Advanced Droid Blueprints), now I see what you are talking about.
I guess 400xp per is okay.
Thanks for the advice.
Now if I can get the schematic macros working... ![]()

You know i had some extra steel and fiberplast last night so i thought i'd grind out a few frames. i would swear that i was only get around 300 xp in practice mode...
i'll have to double check that tonight.

Mouse droidstill you can build adv droid frames
ditto. people told me to grind other things and they were wrong, no matter what you grind you get ROUGHLY .5xp per resource used, so find something that saves mouse clicks and your good to go
It seems that you get 146% or so experience award of the number of units used in an item. This is an item without components, I havent' tracked that. So 100 unit combine gets you 200xp. Roughly, of course.
Basically then you find whatever item you can make that has the highest resource cost AND where the resources are plentiful, and you do that.
