Thread: Probot Question
You don't need to drag the battery anywhere. As long as you have it in you inventory.
Just lick on the droid, bring up the radial menu and choose CHARGE.
Also... just storing them back in the datapad for a moment will completely recharge them. Just remember that if you do this in the wilderness, you will need a camp to get them back out.
thx for the info.
once even after it was stored it came out and sayid it was low.
I do however think I'll avoid Licking my probot and bringing it up ![]()
Thanks
First you select the command from the menu, then you say what you want the command to be.
For example, if you want the Probot to attack when you say "fire" and have a target highlighted, first select attack from the program menu, then say "Fire". You can also name the Probot this way by saying the name that you want it to have before the word you want it to respond to. Use its name several times and it will learn it.
For example, I select attack, then I get the "?" fromt he probot then I type in /fire? I guess I am looking for exact procedure to set one of these commands.
Thanks much.
also you can use "/tellpet fire"
that will not say anythgin out loud but the pet will hear it.
Also on top of what has been said.. it IS case sensitive.. so if you type fire, that is what you MUST use, like wise if it was FIRE or Fire ALL are different.
So an example if you wanted to call the probot - Pro
and use Fire for attack, Follow to have it follow you etc
then you would select train - and in the spatial window type:
Pro Fire
After it learns that one you select Follow and type
Pro Follow
You must teach it 4 cmds with the name in it for it to accept the name.
This also applies to PET's. If you can't teach it four you can't rename it. Also if some one has named it something else, you must overwrite ALL commands that had the previous name, so if you recieve a pet from a MASTER CH and they have used its name in all tricks, but you can only teach it 4 or 5 cmds.. then you can't change its name. You will need to get someone with equal lvl o the original trainer to overwrite the original name cmds.

Once you have you named a pet you can retrain it's command to more generic commands so you only need one macro for each command
Eg All my pets use attack, follow me, stay, guard, etc. Even the droids and they're all named.
Thanks
I think what's confusing you is that nobody has explained the fact that you don't use your pets radial menu to actually issue commands. That menu *IS* the "train" menu.
The exact procedure is to select a command from the menu and wait until you see the "?" over the droids head. This "?" is the droid saying "ok, what word will you use to command me". When you see the "?" you say the word or phrase you want to use to issue the command IN THE FUTURE.
The next time you want to use the droid to attack you just hilight your target and type the word you taught it. The droid will (should) obey your command and attack your target. No radials necessary.
