I already did a search for 'can't open droid storage' and go 0 results, but I'll apologize in advance if this is addressed somewhere in your CU bugs thread.
Anyway, I keep all my crystals, food, Saber tools, saber resources, and weapons in my 4 droids to avoid decay and or accidentally mixing or selling them with other stuff. I logged on today and wanted to craft a new saber and I can't get the "Open Droid Storage Unit" option to come up on the radial menu. /open says I have no permission to access them.
Any solutions on getting into my droids. The datapad still shows that they have the droid storage unit installed, so I assume the CU allows this still.
Please help if you can.

I have 5 droids and I'm in the same boat, I keep my crated medical supplies, spare weapons, crated foods, and armor in mine and now it seems that it's all gone.

This is bad. Very bad. The food and resources are somewhat easily replacable.
But still Bad. I'mtalking my 2 best-tuned pearls not in my Gen 1 saber, my3 best-tuned crystals not in my Gen 1 saber, an ADK, and a Large Aurilian Plant BAD.
EDIT: Forgot to add I submitted a ticket about it this morning. I was hoping there was some trick to itso I came here. I'll post the response, but no telling when that will be given the huge amount of tickets they must be getting.

Odd, I opened a droid with an item storage module just fine earlier... you open the radial menu, hover over "Droid Options" then choose the sub-category Open Droid Item Storage Compartment.
edit: sometimes you have to try a few times to get radial menus to show up too
also, what kind of droid are you having that problem on?

2 mouse droids, a Power droid (EG7?), and an R3. I used to get 3 radial options, Examine, Droid Options, and Store. Now I only get Examine and Store, and I tried several times, even ran in and out of buildings to have it follow me around.

You may be right. It may have been Examine, Options, and List Commands or something. I know the options wasn't there this morning. Going to head home and try again in about an hour.

Im gonna go out on a limb that because of the non-consistent nature, its a bug. Start writing these on the proper thread so they can get noticed.

Okay, I've tested this and it seems the "Droid Options" tab doesn't show up on the radial menu if you call the droid while inside a building.
Go outside, call the droid and see if you get the options. Note, the droid has to be called outside, you can't just bring it out from inside.

Hmm it appears that if you had something that may have been "converted" in your Storage Droid it may have broken it.
I have a few droids that applies too, let me go see if I can't find a fix.

Hmmm ok, I just tried, and was able to open all of mine. I had armor and pearls in them as well.
My only advice is to travel somewhere else and try. People are reporting datapad issues with waypoints and such, they seem to go away when people travel. So that may fix your droid issues as well.

There seem to be additional problems with calling droids indoors.
I noticed my crafting stations weren'r working, and the droid came out as CL 1 (my level) instead of 18.
But outside everything is fine.
[edit]
I think I also noticed some colour shifting back again.
