LOL silly me. I read the "and"s wrong...

The way I read it:

"FYI: The resource costs are going up" {separate thought} "and in-flux and decay rates are being tweaked..."

The way he meant it:

"FYI: The resource costs are going up and in-flux" {separate thought} "and decay rates are being tweaked..."

/emote Screws head back on.

**chuckle**

The way he worded it, it's a horribly written run-on sentence anyway....

But there's nothing in the sentence for in-flux to apply to other than the phrase "resource costs".

Yeah I actually applied it the other direction (dear Lord,I think I'm actually diagramming sentences in my head...) and was trying to figure out what an "in-flux rate" was, as if it was some sort of stat ("Hey, the in-flux rate on my MSE is only 4!").

not really, decay you can fix by stopping near a garage and fixing it.. very useful money sink.. unless they put some kind of vitality like pets do, then we get return business.

They are now built by Master Artisans and require 10x the resources that they did just yesterday.

That's a lot of resources! I guess it makes sense though. It just means that I'm going to have to get a whole lot of harvesters up and running. Do most people just buy their resources as opposed to putting harvesters out? My mineral harvestor brings in about 4800 units of steel in per day, but that doesn't seem like it will be enough to keep a factory running. I know that most of you have this down to a science, but I've never been in a position to get a factory up and running. Being a droid engineer, I never seem to have the money to keep up the maintenance costs for housing, wind power and multiple harvesters. Any tips would be welcome!

I guess if I can sell my first two vehicles for around 15K each it would cover some of my startup costs. I hope the vehicles come soon!

I hope someone here can decipher this comment from Thunderheart regarding vehicles. His comment was in response to concerns inTest Centerthat vehicles would be very easy to produce and not much of a money spinner for Master Artisans;

FYI: The resource costs are going up and in-flux and decay rates are being tweaked...

I think he just means that it will take more resources to build vehicles than we previously thought. I'm not sure what "in-flux" means, but decay rates would be what gives us repeat business.

Good... I'm glad costs to produce are going up. MA's have next to no sources of income on their own. I don't count muzzles or cheapo backpacks as reliableincome sources.

If the resource costs are about ~15.000 units for one single vehicle there's no way in hell I'm selling for anything less then 45.000 credits a piece.

And that price is ONLY for those I consider my close friends.

I can easily sell most of my resources for 3-4 cpu without even blinking.
I'll probably go for something around 100.000 for a vehicle.

I will be out of business you say?
Other people will sell for less?

Let them! I aint going to waste my time pumping up loads and loads of resources just to sell them for scraps.

Thats about 6 cpu. Sounds good to me. 75k & 100k for the bike/speeder.
I'll keep my resources for anything less. That is unless someone brings me the resources and I just get charges and assembly fee then some paltry 5k will be fine so long as they understand that critical fails do happen.

Definitely be selling at 6cpu on patch day, maybe dropping to 4cpu a week or so later
