Can build plenty of Binary Load Lifters. However, since they can only accept armor modules (even the Advanced BLL) then what possible use beyond a buddy could one of these ever be?

Asside from storage, a really big and intimidating buddy... How much would you guys sell one for? You know, so I know how much to expect (and know that I'm not getting ripped off)...

I would not considering selling a load lifter for under 100k. It would be nice if they served their function but waiting 3 weeks inbetween durralloy spawns and other needed resources and the 6 matching advanced motive systems etc.. etc.. etc.. and of course with the increased crit fails, it just seems a rational price.

Hi there, I'm not a droid engineer, but I just purchased a basic protocol droid (my mistake, lol). Anyways, I've noticed that they are, more or less utterly useless, thats ok, I don't feel too bad about buying one (althoughI would've appreciated a warning from the MDE that I bought it from). Anyways, these things at current are useless piles. I had some ideas for them, and I've read other posts, I didn't know where this belonged, so I thought I'd make a new post.

1. Protocol droids should have the ability to converse with any PC at all, and have its responses set buy the owner. It could be set so that if the PC is not online, it is in a static location, and must be in the players house (this is to prevent it to be used as a walking talking ad, as I could see people having it wander cities telling people about their master's business). But when the PC is online, it could follow them around, talking to other PC's. This would be nice for me, as I'm an entertainer, and they could talk to it, I'm not sure what I'd have it tell people yet, but I'm sure I could think of something, maybe it could tell jokes, who knows?

2. It would be incredibly nice if protocol droids could be mini-vendors, being limited to what they can hold (either by amount or type of item). This would be nice for the player cantinas, as most are owned by us entertainers, and putting multiple vendors is just hard for us. It would be nice to have a protocol droid in the cantina serving Jawa beer. The same rule as above would apply, if the PC is not online, its static in a house. When the PC is on, it can wander within proximity of the PC. This would be nice for us entertainers, as we could bring a protocol droid to cantinas with us to serve Jawa beers and snacks to customers (since cantinas have squat to offer besides listening to music). As I said, this would definetely have to be limited in some fashion, as I can easily see armorsmiths having their protocol droids everywhere (possibly limit the protocol droid to food only items?). I can easily see a module needed for this particular function of the protocol droid, which would require the advanced protocol droid.

Well, those are my ideas, its kinda what I wanted out of this protocol droid I bought. I haven't scrapped it, nor do I plan on yelling at the MDE that made it for me, its not his fault its useless, lol. Right now I have it chase customers around for my own amusement. Thoughts, other suggestions?

May the glitch be with you!

With the new animation being added to the protocol droids for combat, does that mean they will run even faster from combat? I was just wondering since we can't use droid mods in them (unless your master) how many people use the protocol droid as a combat droid.

Thanks
