Is here a website or something where i can read about the uses of each droid and the job of each of the moduals? For example the power bot. One required peice is a power core unit which costs 15k to make and sells for 30k from architects, that makes the bot itself worth about 40k, and yet, i have no idea what its used for.

The Repair module also increase the "regen" rate of the droid it is installed in as it is able to repair itself. This is what the description of the module says, and I could be fooling myself, but I saw a noticeable improvement in my Adv Probot with the repair module.

Makes sense.

Most droids are the same... don't do anything without modules.

Power Droid - Powers other droids apparantly (useful only in groups with lots of droids)
DZ-70 - Limited combat capabilities (diseased nuna's make swiss cheeze out of them)
Probot - Decent combat capabilities (every boy and his dog wants one)

That's all I know about those...

Medical module - lets medics work outside of towns/camps/homes
Storage module - supposed to let the droid hold inventory stuff
Data module - supposed to let the droid hold datapad stuff
Repair module - lets a droid repair other droids
Crafting module (various types) - allows the droid to act as a crafting station of that type
Armor module - protects the droid from harm (fits in a different module slot from the others)

There are a couple other modules, but I have yet to see anyone talk about them.

Oh, much of that is hearsay since I've yet to see some of these things happen first hand, or had it confirmed in game.

Well, I always here people talking about how useless droids are and everything until the probot,etc,etc..

I was going to buy a mouse droid at one point and asked what it did "Umm, nothing really" i get as a response, and alot of similar things have been posted here.

One MAJOR advantage for a fighter at the moment ist hea bility to store 10 missions inside of a mouse droid, and pull the missions out in the field, i made 25k today on ONE trip out. That is something worth value, and i think more droid engineers should push it. It will be much more valuable when the data storage modules actually increase this number, but it is still a nice feature.

ok, that 25k round trip got my attention...

Do all droids come standerd with this ability to store missions, or do i need to ask a droid engie to put a specific "chip" in it?

Can an R droid have this capability?

The droids do not come with this ability by default. All they need is a data module, these are quite simple to make and any droid engineer you talk to should be able to put a Data module in almost any droid. Some droids (ie probots) do not have a space for this module, but most others do.

Ok, I tried this. I stored 10 missions inside my MSE data droid. The only way I could get them there in the first place is to drag the missions directly on to the droid. Ok, after that when I try to access them, I cannot get them out of the droid and into my datapad. It will not drag onto my datapad or onto my character directly. I can activate them inside the droid and the waypoints show up, but if I close the window they go away. I cant even leave window open because if I take two steps it automatically closes because I'm out of range, even though he is following me. I am just bugged, have a bad droid, or is there something I am doing wrong? Thanks for your help.

to fetch a mission from the droid do like from mission terminal: view the detail of the mission and click 'accept'.

The 'Activate' option of the mission, when stored in the droid, allow only to see the its waypoint on map so that you can estimate the distance/position before accepting it.

Its a really handy feature, just remember not to store your droid or you'll lose your missions, it has to follow you

its a great way to make money, and i encourage all the DEs out there to use this as a selling feature of their droids. (especially to fighters, when their too young/broke for a probot-or your not making them yet-)

Ohh, and if you take all the missions ABOUT the same distance in the same direction

they seem to be really packed tight together, some i was already standing on as they spawned (when i accepted the missions from the droid)
