Thread: Trying to setup buffing all 9 stats using AFK macro (i.e. Buff house)... Is this possible?
Hey all...
I already found the Doc macro for a buff house, I am now looking to combine it with a dancer/musician buff as well. Say, to do the two entertainer buffs, then do the Doc buffs... My only real concern is the type of building I'd have to put my toon inside. Obviously I need to be able to do all 3 buffs, AND charge a fee to gain access.
Have any of you seen this done, and if so, any ideas? I'd appreciate any feedback you might have. I realize this may not be the most appropriate forum to put this in, so please don't flame me if so. Thank you all very much for your time.

I don't care of you are morally against what I'm trying to do, I am just looking for a way to do it. I don't tell you how to play, so please don't try to do the same to me.

Won't any private house work? I know it used to be possible to cure BF and heal wounds at home.
Sounds like it might be a nice service, pay your $20k (or so)to walk in and walk out fully buffed 7X24. It could reduce the tell-hell problem for me, and let you buy all the expensive toys you want.

The doc macro requires the person to group I believe. Then all the person needs to do is watch you dance or listen to you play. You just need to add in a dance/pause then a play/pause and repeat. The pause times will need to be worked out to ensure max duration (not sure how you can be master of all 3 butt who knows). Be careful to set your pause times on the doc buffs so that you dont double buff the person while they wait for the entertainer buffs. You may want to add in a disbandcommand at the end so they don't get double buffed.
From the doc forum all your going to get is the doc buff macro which you have. Might want to check the dancer forum for the details of the rest.
I am not a great promoter of macro play but to each their own.
Well, I figured everything out myself, save for the Doctor part, which I looked at the FAQ for (for which I needed 1 command!). You are right on target with what you said.
I did the "announce" macro first, then dancer, musician, then finally doctor. I did it that way because you can kick in the mind buffs once you get to where you are going... but your doctor buffs start immediately, so I wanted to give players as much time as possible with those.
No, you can't master all 3. I did 4000 Dancer & Musician, and Master Doctor.
I figured out a way not to double buff someone, by targeting an item in my house. That way, when the macro buffs, it won't try to buff that item, and simply give me an error message. Yes, I have a disband at the end.
All in all I'm very happy with the ways things came out.
Sounds good, I'll have to look into one of these for me (without the Entertainer part).
With my main char as a Master TKA, I know what it can be like going around and not being able to find a buff. Should make a few people happy and a few more pissed just 'cause I'm gonna be AFK with a macro.
one of the cities on dantooine at tarquanis has this done.
They have a musician and a dancer grouped with the doctor, they keep buffing the doctor 24/7. So what happens is you listen to the ents when the doctor invites you to the group. After you get HA buffed you keep listening to the ents and boom you are done9 stats all buffed.
