Thread: Trying to setup buffing all 9 stats using AFK macro (i.e. Buff house)... Is this possible?

Yep, I'm neutral already. Thanks again, those of you who were helpful. I appreciate it.

I didn't realize those skill tapes existed. That would be good stuff, if it weren't a fortune.

If you'd bothered to read my post in the dance forums instead of flaming it, you would have known about those.
C'mon everybody!
Let's all stop our discussions and come help this guy trivialize our profession and turn us all into buff bots!
Are you seeing a problem here, PeteyBoy?

Sounds good, I'll have to look into one of these for me (without the Entertainer part).
With my main char as a Master TKA, I know what it can be like going around and not being able to find a buff. Should make a few people happy and a few more pissed just 'cause I'm gonna be AFK with a macro.
One of the things I'm planning on doing is, in my PA Hall to the West of Coronet, turning the basement into a med center. Was going to do this even before the whole AFK Buffing idea. Now, though, it at least has a practical purpose and isn't just a clever decoration.
Question, though. You need a droid to buff, right? How do you solve the issue of running out of batteries while you are afk? Or does that not matter if you're in your house. And then what if its not your house that you're in?

Damn, forgot about this. Neutral right now but I was for sure going to sign up with a faction (my guild is factioned).
Two questions then:
1) Will you pop out of your declared residence if you get a TEF? I've never buffed inside of a structure before, so I don't know about this.
2) Can neutral players get a TEF for buffingoverts? No, they cannot.
Still not clear on all of the TEF/PVP rules so those are some things I want to check out first.
Also, overts from one faction can buff coverts of the other with no penalty to either.

K, thanks. I don't plan on buffing overt in Coronet, though, that could get ugly.
Also, I have the names above characters turned off, so I can't see if they're over or not without highlighting them. Shouldn't be much of an issue, though.

Neutrals CANNOT buff overts of either faction
Did you try this? I thought someone said that they could.

I'm covert reb. If I set up the buffbot in my own hospital and enhance an overt reb and pick up the TEF, does anything happen? It's not my declared residence (which is elsewhere), but it is mine.
