Thread: Thank you Devs for Bankrupting the Doctor Profession

with everyone that is now desperately trying to grind medical xp by buffing the price for buffs has plummeted to NOTHING.
I hope doctors that are in this situation will have enough courtesy for other doctors that aren't pursuing jedi and will charge at least 5-10k for buff. Don't let the devs ruin a profession we all love.

Except when I buff at Cnet....then it is 15K.
I have no problem selling at that price, whenI choose to sell buffs...which is about twice a week.

Well now you know how smugglers felt when the hologrinders droppedspices at teh bazar at 6k pr crate andsliced at 100 pr %. Like i got 1 starred for stating in another thread, i made myself a doc alt to buff myself, and guildies so i dont have to go to corolag every 3 hours.
But i hope you are able to keep a good price for buffs, but on the other hand maybe the prices for good meat will drop a little, if docs stopbeing morons and try not to outbid eachotehr to insane levels. Simply refuse to buy any meat/resource for over 20 cpu andalot would be solved

don't tell us how much money doctors make...anone running janta missions makes 10X more money per hour. The cost for buff resources are way higher than the cost for any other type of resource as well, not to mention, when we buff, we are using our time to provide you a service...people like you are why i don't buff the public, be greatful that someone is willing o help you for chump change

On Intrepid I haven't seen the price of buffs falling thier are still in the avergae 10k-15k range but buffing for force exp is less effiecent then other ways

I'll assume this was an attempt at sarcasm. Because if it wasn't this person has never gotten past novice medic to know what it's like to buff anywhere.

LOL I love it when Doctor wannabes who only took the profession for buffing get pissy when they lose their cash cow. Good job SOE, pretty soon only the good Doctors will be left.

Yebach thats where you are wrong, most of the good doctors moved on to something else a long time ago. The remaining docs are the ones selling buffs for money, because thats the ONLY thing that is profitable for a doctor. When that goes, even the "bad docs" will be gone.
As far as cash cows go, be carefull what you wish for, as docs are other peoples cash cows. For a VERY small sum of credits, people can go out right now and solo with ease hard enough missions that 1 mission pays more than the cost of 1 buff which lasts over 3 hours.

Really, do us a favor and take up doctor, then insert foot in mouth afterwards. 15K is 1/10th of what an elite combat profession can make back.

I agree with Spunky. I am just now Mastering Doctor for several reasons.
I have also Mastered about every combat profession and have gotten several hundreds of buffs. I remember saying to myself quite a bit, "I would be willing to pay 20-25k for these buffs. I make it back in one mission." So I wouldn't complain about the pricing or the docs who give us the buffs. Let's have some fun people.

Oviously you have never had to pay 450cpu for a good spawn of avian meat.
On my server buff prices are still 10-12k everywhere but at the village. There I see people buffing for 4-5k just to get the med xp.
