when people expect buffingto befree, you will see a drop in doctors across the server, no more advertising buffs. not worth the resource work.

People really over-estimate the amount of money docs make.

Just logged into ecilpse, at the village we have a doctor buffing for free. (and not 2300 buffs, but 2600 3hr40mins)
He bascially buying exp. don't think what he is doing is wrong.

But it will be interesting how this effects the buff market.

It will have a small, marginal effect. If any of you have ever done Architect, the price ranges on Architect products range widely from low to highbut if you stick to your pricing strategy, you'll do fine. There are always other Architects willing to sell for half the price you want - but they don't last long.

Just like the Architect profession, those who are doing it for other reasonsother thanbeing a Crafter (or in this case, Doctor) burn-out quickly. The holo-grind was a case example of that.

However, I do find it amusing that this Jedi revamp spawned another holo-grind type situation. No matter what, people are sooooo desperate to be Jedi in the shortest amountof time that they'll sacrafice their game enjoyment for it. I never did the previous hologrind because I'd rather watch paint dry than go through that pain for something I pay for to have fun.

To each his/her own though- and I wouldn't worry about it.

Simple way to counter?

Go to yavin and set up shop outside the geo caves, youll sell buffs 15-20k easy (maybe more) for all the jedi/FS grinders.

Its what ive been doing.

I can make more and faster xp healing a guy who does the pet trick, I'm more concerned about the 80kxp cap. I can fill the cap in 15min then have to go to dath convert and back to action...

Lol buffing for fs exp... that would take forever, and it would be far too expensive.=) the pet trick while standing next to paemos has been working nicely

Funny, I havn't noticed any drop in prices either, or a drop in the people willing to pay 13K for my buffs. But god damn, flarking jedi sticking their noses into Doc as well. Why don't SOE (edit edit edit edit) and then (edit edit edit) call it Jedi Galaxies then penalise everyone else who isn't a flarking jedi. Oh I forgot, they already are.

Personally I havent seen it myself on infinty as yet.

But if it happens then i need to get my components on the factory again, so I will take a break and let the madness go for it.

I have mastered doc cause i actually like the profession, so let em get on with it....

I have not seen this on Starsider as of yet, although I have seen one of two docs at the village trying to buff the unwilling.

I think the thing is with the Heightened Senses line being so limited of use to Docs most of us aren't too worried about it except for Docs wanting 24 boxes.

I have no idea what this thread is about. Docs in Coro aren't giving away buffs, they have increased their price.I had to take up 0440 doc for my FS grind because of the huge lack of buffing docs around. Sure I see them in the village but could that village be anywhere farther from anything else? 25 person buff lines are common place thesedays and those that are buffing for XP aren't doing it in Coro. If you are travelling back and forth from Coro buffing for XP, you are making the trip every 10-12 people. No need to drop your price if that's your game plan.

You might be able to get a free (or really cheap) buff in the village or at the science outpost on Dath but apart from there, docs are doing a fine business.

Holy retarded player Batman! It is obvious this man has never gathered resources, had to worry about OQ, sat and crafted schematics, or had to stand beside his factory for hours because it kept randomly shutting off. Not to mention......the hours we spend sitting in a starport putting up with 100 tell of "yo doc stats???!?" or "HEy man I only hav 3k can u buff me?"

Just be quiet Pachop, until you speak people can only guess how dumb you are.

This is the reason I only buff the public 3 times a week.
