What do you use? I've been fiddling with both, but would like to hear some more seasoned doctors opinions.

I always go for charges. The power goes 1:1 as the charges. And I'd rather go for more charges or 20 more power.

I am now going for power on most of my ABECs as I am crafting for PvP. I always used to go for charges, but power is now too important on buff packs and cure packs that I am willing to live with lower charges for the sake of staying alive.

Sure of course, if I craft my premium stim b's with 31/440 I go all for power too. But generally some points power don't live up to more charges.

I go for charges and still hit 900+ power.

I don't feel the extra 40pts in buff would keep me alive long enough. I'd rather die and rebuff with the nine extra charges I have.

My only packs not experimented for charges are janta, and that is only because I can't.

This question has been debated for months.

There is no "right" answer. Do what you want.

Personally I go charges as the extra power doesn't justify the loss in charges IMO. HOWEVER, I'm also on a quest to make a 400 power stim B without an advanced CRDM. In that instance I go power all the way and my personal best is 398. If I was able to squeeze 2 more points of power out of something I can hit it. I think I've hit my limits on the ABEC's and have to hope that some uber dant berries spawn on Intrepid so I can try to get a few more points on my ALS (162 at the moment)

I hit 393 power on a Stim B with a non advanced crdm and abec for charges

Now you got me thinking.

You know.. my best is 398 also.. but my LSs are 171.. So.. um.. wanna trade some CRDMs for some LSs?

Oh wait.. different server..

I always go with charges on my ABEC's. I'm currently making them with 11p/23c

My stim B's are 42/434 using ACRDM's I have schematics for 188 LS but I'm saving those until I get better resources for the rest of my components.

I go for charges on the ABEC. On stims, you can still get the power up high using regular CRDMs.
Stim B: 408/41
Stim C: 605/48
Stim D: 892/55 (I think I could get 900 with a 998 OQ Talusian Plast that was up last week)

You all sound like you're crafting for PvE. The base power of cure packs is currently the most important thing for doctors in PvP because there are some insanely strong poisons and diseases out there. Ancient weapons with poisons that tick for 1800, and new strong diseases/poisons made from components from the Geonosian Biolab.

Believe me, when you're in a PvP battle trying to keep yourself and others alive with cures, you MUST have it work first time, every time, not in two cures. So experimenting on power for ABECs is vital in that case.
