I definately go for charges as well. I just made some 8/23 ABECs and I love them (the PE on the wheat was 29 and that really killed them. Of course, the next spawn of LWW was the best the server has seen, but I was too busy on some great Class 4). With my 188 LS, I can still get the power pretty high, even with regular CRDMs.

Personally I go charges as the extra power doesn't justify the loss in charges IMO. HOWEVER, I'm also on a quest to make a 400 power stim B without an advanced CRDM. In that instance I go power all the way and my personal best is 398. If I was able to squeeze 2 more points of power out of something I can hit it. I think I've hit my limits on the ABEC's and have to hope that some uber dant berries spawn on Intrepid so I can try to get a few more points on my ALS (162 at the moment)

I managed to make a 403 power Stim B without an ACRDM. I used a 183 power ALS, charge experimented ABEC (16 charges, 13 power, I have super crappy tat fiberplast), and a 19 power CRDM. (not so sure on the CRDM, but close) and 980OQ inorganic and a 960/860 organic. They ended up being 403/34, which isn't too bad for the effort required to make em.

I was thinking about making a few thousand and selling them for less than comparably priced stim Bs, but I don't know if price is the limiting factor on how fast stimpacks move, it's quite possibly limited by how long a crate of 50 lasts.

What's the power on your ALS? I'm pretty much convinced that's my weakness. I've got 19 power CRDM's. +900 OQ and +900 PE organics, +900 OQ +900 UT inorganics and 20 power 12 charge ABEC's. Using 162 power ALS's (the best I can do with that I have) I can get in the 390's on a stim B.

Yep, that's it. My ALS's are 179. The organic on the final combine is 998 OQ 961 PE. The inorganic is 994 OQ and 600ish UT I think. I don't care much about the UT on the inorganic. Most of the charges come from the ABEC anyhow. I just look for great OQ and anything at or above 500 on the UT.

It took about 6 months to get a berry over 800 OQ and PE. I stocked up

I'm totally with ya on cure packs. But I'd go with charges on buff packs and just about anything else,unless you really have the resources and time to waste... so be it.

I can easily pump out 4000 stims a week if need be using CRDMs. Can you find me 64k of Herbivore Meat / week if I needed it all?

Stim B 42 charge 415 base using:

ABEC: 21 charge 16 power
CRDM: 19 power
ALS: 184 power

I always max the charges regardless of pack made.

My Enhance packs with:

ABEC: 21 charge 16 power
ACRDM: 69 power
ASDS: 68 power

Action 34 charge 919 base
Other 5 31 charge 895 base

Class IV is rare and herbivore meat is hard to come by. All the other components for stims are always available at all times. There is always tat fiber for instance. It just may not be that good.

I'm pretty much convinced to stop wasting my time experimenting onpower fora ABEC's. I understand the PvP point but the majority of the playerbase is PvE (although the minority of PvP does drive a good bit of the market). My crux is without a doubt my ALS. I can't get higher than 160ish. I've only been a doc for a short while (few months) and the best berries I have are 900 OQ but 500 PE. My water is +900 OQ though (talus water always seems to be pretty good on Intrepid)

i make most of my abec's 18 power, 18 charges but i do use diff abec's in diff situations. i use 23p/13c if i feel have to make up for lack of power due to a weaker resource. i also use 23p/13c for my pvp grade stims. i know i dont care about charges while fighting for my life and generally money is not an issue for the pvp'ers so they dont mind getting less charges.
