Hi
I wanna start business in med buffs.
I maked a search but too many post on avian meat so I ask here.
What mob drop the biggest volume of avian meat ? and for herb meat ?

i was on dathomir doing the biggest ancient flyer and with master scout I take 32 units of avian meat.

yes but I ve asked it cause I wanna wait when the biggest mob drops good avian meat for start harvest it.

Quality changes, so a better question is what planets are good for herbivore and avian meats? If you could rank planets on a scale of 1 to 10 for ease of getting large quantities of each meat, how would you rate them?
For example, Tatooine is clearly a 1 for avian (darn nunas...). Dathomir is perhaps a 7. Lok is perhaps an 8 or 9 for avian. Naboo is maybe a 5 for avian. Corellia is a 3.
Nothing on Lok drops a huge amount of avian, but there are 2 medium creatures that drop, you can get missions for both, and people with a novice advanced comabt skills (i.e. novice pistoleer) can run the missions. I think that makes Lok the best for avian (assuming its good quality).
Dantooine is a 10 for herbivore. Dathomir is maybe a 3 or 4 for herbivore. Corellia is perhaps a 6. Yavin is an odd one because herbivore is hard to find from normal critters, but enhanced kwis at the Geonosian lab drop a boatload. Dantooine is fabulous for gathering large quantities quickly with pikets, bols, and thunes all dropping decent amounts.
This is probably more useful info than what individual creatures drop the most. What planets do other people think are best (and worst) for gathering avian and herbivore in quantity?

but enhanced kwis at the Geonosian lab drop a boatload?????? I went there about 3 weeks ago and got a massive 1 Herb meat of them?????

What level of scout hunting do you have? Were you grouped with anyone while you harvested it? Having people in a group automatically makes you as a single player harvest a lot less while being grouped. Did you eat any Veghash to increase your harvesting bonus? If you have hunting 4 and are ungrouped while eating Veghash you should have no problems harvesting creatures for more than 1 unit, I hope that helped. Of course being a master scout and/or having ranger skills would be really nice.

Yavin 4 has Choku and Whiper birds for avian, both are missions. Skreeg (or how it is spelled) has descent amounts of herbivore, there are probably others aswell.

Check www.swgcreatures.com do an advanced search and look by meat type.
Corellia sucks for herbivore meat, the biggest herbivore there is a bageraset and it drops **edit** all, enhanced kwis will drop upwards of 400 units of herbivore meat even at novice scout, but you have to drag them out of the bunker and away from the immediate vicinity of the caves for them to drop anything worthwhile (if you're in the area where you can pull your bike out without a 15 second delay, they'll only drop 1 unit of meat)..
On Dathomir, if you can find them, you can kill malkloc plainswalkers, which dropa hell of a lot of meat, regular malklocs drop very little comparatively, but around the tarpits, plainswalkers drop several hundred units each, they're one of the best herbivores to kill in terms of harvesting, but they're not missionable.
When it comes to avian meat, most of the mobs out there are **edit**, the best ones are yavinian, chokus drop anything up to 50 units each and you can take missions for them, the rest of the birds in the game are pansies and drop sod all.

Lok is great for herbivore too, just a bit under Dantooine. Naboo is decent too if you can get bolle bols missions (you often need to be grouped though).
To answer the original poster again though... Don't waste your time harvesting the meat if it's bad, nobody will buy it.

All creatures inside Dungeons drop no more that 1unit.
It's working as intended I guess.

I like Happymobs idea but I dissagree on a few points.
1. I would rank Lok the best for avian and herb if you have a good fight class. Gurks lairs are the best yeilding herb meat in the game. Good yield per kill and lots of kills per lair. You can also find a few gurk king hids to sell. The missions also pay well. The avian (Perleks) are some of the best yielding avian as well. Also there are not a lot of other mobs to get in your way.
2. I would rank Endor as second for herb. The main reason is that you can just walk around and kill stuff (very high mob density). You will need a good fight class since other mobs will aggro you. It is a 0 for avain.
3. I would rank Dant third for herb and lowest for avian. The great thing about Dant herb is there are a ton of hunters. I suggest joining a solo hunt group and let everyone know your buying herb meat. Or even better, sit there and buff for cash and offer to buy the herb. You will make tons buffing and you will get far more herb/hr than you could get yourself.
4. When on yavin hunt Skreeg herb. They look like Gurks. They yield well even with just hunt 1. The missions pay about 7.4k if I recall correctly. Hunt the huurton looking dogs for avian (dang, I cant recall the name). They yield better than Whispers and they are aggressive so they dont run from you like birds. I would put Yavin at about the mid range. Not great but not bad.
5. Dath is a good but not great place for both avian and herb. Good yields but a pain to hunt on. (lots of hills if you dont have terrain neg. its a pain, not to mention other mobbs jumping you).
6. Talus and Rori are low yielding for both avain and herb but do able.
7. Cora and Tat are even lower yielding.
