Peko Peko Albatrosses on Naboo drop around 1k avian meat, can't say they are worth the effort though, as it usually takes as long to track them down and kill them as it does to gather the 1k elsewhere.

Hehe takes longer to kill them than get the 1k elsewhere too lol

If you kill ANYTHING in a dungeon, you only get 1 unit of meat (to prevent camping, go figure), you have to drag it out of the dungeon and away from the metropolitan area (the immediate vicinity - where you can pull your bike out without the 15 second wait) to be able to harvest anything worthwhile.

I had 1-0-3-0 in scout at the time and was not it a group :/

Having people in a group automatically makes you as a single player harvest a lot less while being grouped. Did you eat any Veghash to increase your harvesting bonus? If you have hunting 4 and are ungrouped while eating Veghash you should have no problems harvesting creatures for more than 1 unit, I hope that helped. Of course being a master scout and/or having ranger skills would be really nice.
