Thread: New Buffpack type proposal. /sign if you agree
NEW TYPE OF BUFFPACKS

Hello everyone! I just came up with an idea of new type of buffpacks,
that will seriously improve the gameplay and also be very interesting
for any doctor. So here it is.... ![]()
(*NOTE that I do not want the old types of buffpacks to be cancelled
or changed, this idea is only to ADD a new type of buffpack).
Recently, all doctors have big,long lines. Yes, thanks to the new publish
that will come soon, and decrease our wound treatment time(there's
a rumor though, that this will only affect medics,but not doctors), but still
people do not like to stay in lines, simply wasting their time.Some people
here called the "casual" players can't waste it much, if they are limited
for their time online. So what if this type of buffpack will be implemented
in game. This buffpack will INSTANTLY buff all 6 stats(health,strength,
constitution,action,quickness and stamina), meaning that this buffpack
will apply all 6 buffs at the same time. Of course to craft this buffpack
you need a lot of resources and time(so it will be equal to the time and
resources docs spend to craft all 6 buffpacks now). If we had this
buffpack we will get a lot of positive things, such as: decreased time
doctors spend to buff 1 person, thus there won't be long lines, and people
won't have to wait in them. Another plus, is that doctors will have to
carry only 1 item instead of 6 as it is now,thus more buff sets you can carry
and more people a doctor can buff. Of course people will still need buff
in single packs(i.e. Musicians,Dancers etc. to buff action and quickness)
so we do not need these types replaced with the new type. Another great
side of thistype of buffpack, is that you can experiment on it, and thus get all
enhancements be equal in power and duration(no more 2700 for action
and 2500 for health and difference in time), and the last good side in this
type, simply docs will be able to get more money in less time.
There is one negative side of this
. The chefs... who craft havla, docs
will no longer need it. BUT it won't affect chef proffesion that much,
because they still have brandy, bivoli, canape etc. Also If you use havla with this
type of buff you can INSTANTLY buff 24 people. This will greatly improve GCW.
Imagine a massive pvp war with docs that buff instantly after people clone! ![]()
So that's basically it. Sorry if I made my points not very clear, ill try to correct
it later.

Ideas don't just get added because they're good. I believe the primary guideline the devs are (should be if they aren't) using (and will be using in the future, so they say), is how the proposed idea affects profession interdependence. Right now, Doctors buy Havla from Chefs that uses bio-engineered addins to make their buff speed faster. That is 2 other professions relying on Doctors for product sales. Why would they want to take that business away from Chef's and BE's? They wouldn't, and so they most likely wont.
Sure adding 1 schematic is easy, but so is giving us the ability to teleport to any location on any planet, and so would giving us all Jedi, and so would increasing resource stack sizes to 1M instead of 100k. It's all about how the economy and fun & challengefactor would be affected by the change for all people concerned.
To get over the havla issue they could simply make some of the subs be chef/BE or any other prof made item. The same idea was done with the area cures requireing CM made disp mechs.

Been around since day 1 also and this has to be the 5th or 6th time I've seen this idea mentioned. You have to wait forever for a doc irl, might as well wait in game too.
