agent or some other helpful doc guru

i've been doc since october, but somehow it just came to my attention this morning that the same buffpacks are landing for different durations on different people...

with110 droid, +25 be clothes, 25.4 bivoli, no player city bonus, i buffed myself and another person with the same packs

my buffs landed for 2609 power, 4h 5 min duration

his landed for 2609 power, 3h 42 min duration

can anyone explain this?

DR on the avian/gas affect the duration of the buffs, NOTHING else will have any affect.......your duration would be the same if you simply buffed in a hospital with no BE clothes, andno bolvi. The buff power would change, but the duration is the only static value in the equation.

Visit the Credit Sink - outside of Coronet 884 -4778, just look for Jenny. Drop off anything you would like to sell or take a look around and purchase something.

Never heard of such a thing. Seems like anything that would affect duration would also affect the stat enhancement number. Nice buffs, by the way.

I dont think BF will affect the duration, but I am not sure as I always ensure the BF is gtg.

Were you checking the same stat? I've had some packs come out a little different in duration with the same resources and come out with the same power. It was just something that happened in experimenting. Try it again, and both of you check the duration of each stat against eachother, just take into account one person was buffed first.

I bet you checked your action against one of his other 5 stats.

thats why I use the same avian and reactive gas to make my action packs, so that the durations come out consistent.

I've had something similar to this. I've had weird results while running macros where the last enhancement will be lower than the rest of the set. I'll still have bivoli in my system, check the pack and it's still the same, but nevertheless it happened. This has gotten me on several occasions so now I don't use a macro and haven't had any problems.

Anyone else had this?

iused the same avian and reactive for action as the other stats

all 6 packs are 949 power and 13365 duration

exact same packs are being used to buff the other person and myself

all 6 of my buffs come out 4h 5 min, every stat

all 6 ofhis buffscome out 3h 42 min, every stat

i double checked with my partner, who is also a master doc, buffing with same buffpacks, same bivoli, his own buffs last night were 4h 5 min

3h 42 mins is actually right for the packs, 13365 duration should land there... but why are they sometimes landing higher?
