The lvl of resources and the number of components required is beyond ludicrous. IT is obvious whomever is designating these resource numbers has never spent any time as a doc.
200 units of avian meat per item? Are you out of your mind?
300 units of reactive gas?
Guys, if you want docs to be a viable profession you might take some thought for reducing these requirements by x10. Even at those lvls you would need staggering amounts of resources to even moderately function as a doc.

well it wont be the doctor's problem, it will be the BE's problem although if any docs are going to convert on over, will be concerned with that problem.
i agree they are crazy, perhaps they will change down, but regardless of it all, crafted products in general are going to lose value due to the level system that is going to be implemented in the CU. no longer will your equipment define your place in the combat arena, only your Combat Level vs the mob level will determine if u win or lose, attack a mob higher than yourself, despite your top notch equipment, u will most likely end up cloning. is this good for the game? hard to say, imo i think it kills what we are used 2, some people will like it, others will not.
im 1 of those that dont, hence my cancellation, just waiting till it runs out at the end of this month.

You would expect with resource requirements such as this (as well as the multiple components needed) that charges on the final product would be significantly increased. I have no clue however whether this is the case - does anyone know?

They did the same thing to AS. Apparently we were not supposed to stockpile so many resources, is the way it was explained to us.

I crafted a few enhancers and the charges on a pack are typically over 150...

Phew, well that's something, I was begining to think crazy thoughts!
Still some nasty named resources in there but unit per charge it does look reasonable, and no more molusc thankfully! Getting enough for a decent factory run will ba a pain of course, andI don't even want to think how much these will cost, but having seen what it could have been I'm not feeling quite so terrorised. ![]()

Well it certainly looks like sales will be slow enoguh to be sustainable that's for sure, don't know if so many packs requiring avian is a great idea though, I'd have thought they'd have broken that up a bit with a different meat type like carnivore. I guess we'll see in live soon enough, but I think it's fair to say BEs are going to need to be good friends with a few rangers
I doubt their scouting ability alone is going to be anywhere near enough.

I figured I'd get a slight jump on things and bought some eggs, fish and mollusks. WHOOPS! Of course I can probably resell them, and I'm glad they're not going to be needed in med stuff, but it just goes to show the devs obviously plan on giving us zero time to truly prep for the CU in regard to resources/current meds, (i.e. make some runs of meds in order to have them convert to something decent, etc.).
