If what I have heard remains true and buffpacks convert into the stims that everyone can use, I will be fairly ticked. Will they be converting T-21's into CDEF rifles as well? Or Composite Armor into Bone Armor? I don't think so.
I understand that the CU is bringing much needed changes to SWG. I went into the Doctor profession AFTER several of the announced changes. I will be very cross, however, if the "something useful" for the Med Use 90+ buffpacks I scrounged up turn into crappy low level stims that do not require any medical skills.
Basically, the buffpacks should convert into medical supplies commiserate to their level of difficulty.
Or, if the Devs want the really easy way out, give us a credit value based on the [(power+duration)xUses]/5. That shouldsatisfy most doctors by coming close to the sale value of the buffs.

Huh? Thats only about 3k per pack! Current value of a pack for a single stat with around 30 uses is about 10k to 15k on Ahazi.

it all sucks, but then i sell some my buff sets at 30k a set with 5k deposit on backpack that works out nearly as cheap

I left an important part of the equation out. It was late and I was tired. Look at it again and it will seem much better

I really hope they don't do that, because I will be shafted due to buying all those 30k free resources kits, lol.

So current enhancers become stims, current stims become stims and current wound packs become stims...and all converted will be worse than new crafted....Doctors take it in the ass again.

If I understand the changes Stim-D will be the most value doc item post CU so why all the beef about buffs converting to stims ?

a) Resources used for buffs are a lot more expensive than the ones needed for stims post-CU
b) A buff converted to a 425 power stim-D is on the same level as a post-CU stim-D crafted from the crappiest resources with no experimentation.
