Thread: Factories still not working
LOL this is a joke, I have been redeeding, changes schematics, taking items out of crates, putting in order of pull, you name it. I have not had mine working in weeks. I have about 30 full crates of CRD's BEC's LS and SDS, what should i do, junk them, make new ones, this game is a joke and I am pissed off because i waste HOURS a dAY trying to get my factory to work. I have had a CSR ticket in for the past 2 weeks and still no reply, sent emails and online support help, If someone has an idea Please let me in on it.

On the bright side -- at least they sorta take stuff out of crates in the input hopper now. Not perfect, but it works. Up until the factory stops entirely, of course.....

At least they're officiallyaware of the situation and are working on it.. I hope they fix it soon......
I must retract what i had said earlier about factories not taking from crates. I had just tried it and it did not work and I was getting a little fustrated.
However, I came across a thread that quoted a CSR suggesting that the factory be redeeded before the changes to the patch came into effect. I tried it and it worked. Yaaay. I started making some stim d's in my factory and it worked. This was my last major beef with swg (i do enjoy playing quite a bit). Thanks Devs.
okay, now it looks like i must retract my retraction.
my factory made 25 of my stim b's just fine. Then it stopped. Presumably becuase it needed to switch to another crate of bio effect controllers (since d's need twice the number of the other componants). I tried starting it up again, and it didnt' work. Twice.
Apparantly this is still my biggest issue with swg.
Well theres at least 2 issues with factories at the moment.. some continuously stop after making items like say 50 bio effects...
The second issue is the not pulling from the factory crate bug. The csr i linked too was talking about the not pulling from the factory crate bug(least i hope he was if he understood the message he was responding too). He said that they're working on it.
The bug they're trying to fix right now is the factory stopping for no reason at all. I guess they see this as a bad bug but they don't care much about fixing the pulling from the factory crate bug.
I have noticed that the factory will not pull from crates made before the big patch. I get the out of (insert component name here) message.
On the other hand, the factory does seem to be pulling from crates that were made after the big patch, even partially full ones.

I'm the only one not beeing able to restart my factory after it stopped without reasons ? Yesterday patch told it was OK, but i had redeed twice my factory yet and everytime couldn't restart it after i did some subcomponants.
