Fellow Doctors,
This is our chance to make a bit more money for our buffs. Even though this will only affect one attribute, I think the demand will be great. What prices do you think you'll charge for these enhancements?
10k for each is what I'm thinkign.

If included with a set of average buffs I would charge about 12 or 13k.

How long do these buffs last?
If its only 10 minutes, there is no way I'd spend 10k on a buff.

... I think you should charge whatever you feel like and see if people bite.

That's a good point about duration. I was assuming that they would function like other buffs. 10k does seem like a bit for each, but 5- 10k for the two doesn't seem unreasonable considering the benefit.

According to some resist buffs put together on Test Center they have about 3200 duration, or about 1 hour.
I agree they'll be extremely useful, but if Docs start charging an additional 10k for EACH (poison AND disease) on top of regular buff prices, I'll just be that much more thankful for my guildmates and friends who are Doctors.

Guess I am expecting to see two buff types, hunting buffs and pvp buffs. Hunting buffs can of course use lower quality packs and go for 8k or so and the pvp version would add the new buffs and go for 15 to 20k for the set and use highest quality buffs.

No one will pay 10k for these. If they do, they are stupid. These are simply PvP tools, and a good PvP team will have a doctor with them to apply the area cures. In PvE, I have never succombed to poison or disease. If doctors want to add it to the buff kit, given the fairly uselessness of them in PvE, then they of course will charge what ever people are willing to pay, but personally I never payed more than 1000 cra buff per stat. These kits are easy to make, any self sufficient doctor can gather their own resources and do not need to pay for them. As a doctor, I never charge more than 1000 cra stat and with the new inocculations, I will be charging 500 cr each if the duration isan hour.

You may be right Tlk. I think it'll be interesting to see what type of market will develop for these buffs.

They must have some crazy kind of thing going on Naritus. If you've "never succumbed to poison or disease", then it's safe to say you've never been involved in any significant PVP. A couple of duels every now and then with your friends doesn't count.
Also, you've never paid more than 6k for a full Doc buff? Come on...

It will be interesting. The potential market for these buffs is much more limited(mostly PvP players), but, on the other hand, the presence of these to counter Combat Medics is probably going to lead to a minorincrease in the number of people playing PvP.
What it comes down to is the question of:
Do you charge more because the demand isn't going to be as high as your regular buff packs?
or
Do you charge less because the duration is so low and the value is lower because they can always use the area heals and forgo the buffs?
I think you do both and balance between the two, which, in the end, means you charge just like you do for regular buff packs: 1 to 2k per buff.

Well personally I'm not out to make a huge profit with these new innoculations. As is with every crafting/service profession I have played, I will simply calculate on average how much it costs me in resources to produce the item, and then throw ina small bonus for myself.
As long as I'm able to break even on the production costs as well as make a small profit I'll be happy. I don't play this game to get rich with fake money, I play it to have fun in a social environment. I'm not saying that to insult anyone though, so don't take it the wrong way. If you get your jollies from charging the most credits people are willing to pay without complaining then more power to you.

I for one will be delighted to have the new resists not as a PvP tool, but as a method of saving myself some hassle from the super-annoying area effect poisons and diseases some creatures have.
