Thread: Best combat prof to go with MDoc

Hello,

Yes i have just started up a alternate toon who i am planning on making a master doctor. I was wondering what does everyone who's already a doc think is the best combat profession to go along with it for PvE and for PvP as i plan on doing both. Any help would be useful, thanks

Master swords and Master doc, Use your left over points and pick up the melee speed tree in FS. Swords has two damage types to TKA's one. Swords has medium armor piercing to TKA's light. Since your master doc Meditate seems redundant. As for rifles if you like ranged thats the way to go.

Right now I am a Master Doctor / Master Fencer. I love the combination. I can buff/heal myself and have good defensive skills.

I LOOOOOVE Pikeman, but its only awesome with a speed cap, if not its just good, and with Swordsman you can hunt NS and Krayts in relative safety!

i also <3 doc/fencer. it's not the best for solo pve due to it's limited damage output. but you can survive just about everything. I was doing the FS phase 4 as this template and while thugs were slaying all the swordsman out there, i was running around with huge groups aggro'd on me resing people healing them and leading them back to a hut for re-buffing. I've had similar experiences on the corvette, and dwb. It's nice for pvp for similar reasons. You don't get the gobs of damage but I think the defenses more then make up for it. doc/tkm and doc/pikes are better vs jedi though. more toughness on the side of doc/tkm, and jedi can't cure the fire dots of a pikesman.

doc and anything works well. rifles and swords work the best because unlike a lot of the other professions, they have a wider range of damage types and armor piercing along with good mind attacks, mind bars are generally the lesser bars even among creatures.

PVP: TKM

PVE: Swordsman

Support: Rifleman


Swords rule pve even without doc

Rifleman rule ranged combat

Fencer is only for the doc who always buff themselves

Almost every tkm is a doc, as far as i see it in Kauri
