Is it possible to get 4hr buffs? What is the longest buff you have made? Any tips on making my buffs last longer?

I've made some 3 hr 40ish minute buffs before. Those were with avian that was around 800 DR, and gas with around 700 DR.

Assuming you could find 900+ DR avian/gas, I'm sure you could hit 4 hours.

Yes 4 hour buff are possible even though i have no idea how you get it around there

ok thats two people who have told me that. 4hr buffs would be awesome for leveling, even if they dont have high stats, you can get a lot of xp in 4hrs.

I've gotten buffs with 3:40 duration with 900+ DR on both the avian and the gas. Would've gotten 4 hours but the sub resources on Tempest don't have the best DR. So yes it's possible you'll just need great stuff.

The longest I would say was like 3.30 but i have never tryed to get really high time.

I'm 99% sure that 4 hour buffs are the same as 1000 power (non-loot enhanced) buffs: perfect.

I made some 3 hour 48 minute buffs during the patch 7 change, but I can't even get close to that normally.

I could get about 3 hours 30, maybe 3 hours 36 minutes with 920oq/900-ish dr gas and 950oq/900-ish dr avian. There's room for improvement, sure, but not that much room...

The longest duration enhance packs I've made were 3hrs 45mins, but on my Twilek friend he says it lasts 4hrs something

You can do a search on the Doc forums for the max duration. From memory, the theoretical max is 14,200 seconds, which is 3 hours 56 minutes and 40 seconds. Close to 4 hours, but not quite there. If anyone has actually made any 4 hour buffs = 14,400 seconds, please post a screenshot.

14200 is the maximum duration on buffs. This is about 3 hours, 57 minutes. But this would require Reactive Gas and Avian Meat that had 1000 OQ and DR.

Duration is entirely dependent on the OQ and DR of the Reactive Gas and Avian Meat. The formula to calculate what your duration will be is as follows:

1200 plus the product of:

[(0.4*Av OQ)+(0.6*Av DR)+(0.4*Gas OQ)+(0.6*Gas DR)]*6.5

And duration, of course, is measured in seconds. 14,200 seconds is 3.94 hours.

Best i've done is 3:45. Pretty close to the 3:57 limit.
