Thread: Elite-Elite Professions for Medics/Doctors/CM
An ENTIRE profession dedicated to healing mind? Waste of skill points if you ask me.
God I hope not. Between keeping scouting up to harvest animals and artisan to survey I couldn't do it. Would mean giving up Pistol I,II,III,IV and the one row of Pistoleer I was able to get.
Mainline healer that can fight if needed, yes. Superduper dedicated healer with no combat skills, no. But thats just me.
Elite-Elite -Combat Doctor (requires Master Medic/Master Doctor/Master Combat Medic)
Wound treatment (Column 1) - Greater distance heals +Wound treatment multipliersexceeding 100%. And here's one I'd really really like - at master level a city/camp is not required (though without them reduced heal function) - heal wounds anywhere (even in the cantina).
Speed/Cost (Column 2)- *New* reduced mind cost (instead of increase speed - on a single Mind ham you could take care of 3 or 4 people instead of just 1 fully black ham player)
Med Use (Column 3) - New med use requirements exceeding 100 for column 4 below (each box is +20 at Master level med use is 200). Additional experimentation points for a total of 20.
Crafting (Column 4) - New all-in-one healing pack -The Elixir Pack- hits every woundto some leveland combines with stim as well. On a corpse,a Master Elixer Pack would rescusitate/Heal all wounds/and stim to 100%. New enhance pack that enhance all bars.Quality and amountof these new items would of course vary with your level. Finally on the CM side of things new tranquilizer dart - could be combined with assist for BE - DNA sampling/ or CH a groggy animal can be brainwashed more easily. A few uber master darts (say 4 of them) could make a Kryat Dragon pass out cold.

lol lets see after mastering CM and Doctor you will have exactly 18 skill points left...
considering all professions have 18 boxes to train in 1 novice 4 boxes per tree and 1 master box...
all the skills would have to take exactly 1 skill point and you would have zero weapon skill or survey....
will there really?! i wonder about that...i dont think they are gonna raise the skill point cap...
would be hard to make a elite-elite class based on 2 elite classes....or an elite and hybrid...
hmm i worry about more skill points too...
I think Q said in the Q&A thread that they're not going to raise the Skill Point limit. They want stuff like Urban Planner to go to really dedicated people.

How About a Bionics doctor/surgeon.
Have the elite elite doc be one that can make and install implants on people. Maybe some eye implants for zooming or better accuracy. Hand or arm replacements for strength or damage with melee. Legs for faster people.
other then that what else would a doc need? Transplants maybe?
Combat medics would maybe be able to errr hmmm ...... not sure
but docs already have to master two FULL skill trees to be master docs. A third FULl skill tree would leave little for anything else. Unless the elite elite won't be full skill trees with 4 rows of 4 boxes.
I spent all my points on Master Doctor/Master Pistoleer
Having to sacrifice Explore IV and all of scouting to boot, I'm slow as a snail =o( At least my buffs will keep me alive! oh wait, I'll just get headshotted or eye shotted by someone and my buffs will be a waste.
Oh! and even better! My buffs are bugged! So I can't apply them for another hour or two.....Oh well, shame on me picking a broken class!
