You know what I was just thinking? If we heal mind, it would be just another balancing act like they had in Asheron's Call.

Wouldn't a Master Doctor/Master Combat Medic be considered a dedicated professional?

No - I'm not there yet .. but it is my intention ... only 2/3 CM to go. (my crafting finger is SORE!)

elite/elite = Pharmacist

The only ones to make Rezz Packs

Cost less resources to make same Medicines as Doc/CM

Has more experimentation points.

problem master doctor and master Cm leave u with 18 points...how u gonna make a class that uses only 18 skill points?!

A Pharmacist class would definately have to have at least master crafting in CM and Doc...

so if they just got that....maybe...so a class that doesnt stem off a mastering of a full advanced class like master architect, but maybe off the mastery of 2 trees only in 2 advanced professions would work...

something like master medic (since uneed that for CM or doctor) then CM crafting and Doc crafting mastery...
many would suck to have to get all that combat xp for ranged heals just to make CM meds...but then again....since combat xp is gonna come for healing in combat, maybe not such a problem

but a class that stems of both master CM adn DOc would be near impossible

My two creds. . .

I don't think there should be an elite-elite profession that flows from having both Master Doc and Master Medic. If you have both, that is basically a sort of elite-elite profession anyhow. If the devs are going to have Elite-Elite professions, the WHOLE POINT should be to allow further specialization VERTICALLY. That is, you can further specialize in what is basically being a Doctor, beyond the Master Doctor title, or further specialize in Combat Medic, or whatever. To do this, youshould have to give up some part (or all if you want to completely master the elite-elite tree)of another elite profession's tree. If I become a master Doc, I like the idea that I could have the *option*, should I choose, to further specialize up from Master Doc, so that I could be a better Doctor than anyone who decides to take Combat Medic, could possibly be.

That means, there should be an elite-elite profession that requires Master Doc as a prereq for entering, and there should be another Elite-Elite profession that requires Master Combat Med to promote into. Of course, if they are going to do this, they should adjust the costs of professions so that, after mastering an elite-elite profession, you should have enough skillpoints left over to get like 1/2 of a non-elite profession. So you could, for example, master say one weapon line from marksman or brawler, and possibly the support line from one of those trees too - so like 3-1/2 professions worth of skillpoints. Or get Survey and Business from the artisan line. Something like that.

As for my ideas for a Doc Elite-Elite: I don't care what the title would be, but I think the following skills/eqptmight be cool (note I'm just brain-storming here. Perhaps some of this stuff would just be way too powerful, I don't know):

*Note* All of the Doc Elite medpaks should probably REQUIRE a surgical droid with a high level medical module in it, to use.

Multi-Wound Medpaks: 1 line of Body Medpak A, B, C, D: Heals Health/Strength/Const wounds. 1 line of Vigor Medpak A, B, C, D: Heals Action/Stam/Quick wounds.

Bacta Tank (craftable upon mastering the tree): Like a Medpak D that heals all 6 Doc healable wound types.

Area Wound Medpaks (A-E): Heals one type of damage (like current medpaks), but divides the healing among everyone nearby (I'm thinking perhaps the Area Wound Treatment Mepaks would have a heal factor of about 2x-3x the normal medpaks, since the amount healed would be divided between everyone close by. Otherwise the A, B, and C levels of the Area Wound Medpaks would be almost useless.)

Area State Paks/Stims: pretty self explanatory.

I definatle think the doc line needs AOE /cure packs...this will be more and more of an issue as Cm AOE gets fixed...

I have always believed that CM dots should be strong because they have a direct counter in the game in the docitr /cure line so, if the CMs get AOE dots, the doctors should be the aoe cure...
