I became master doctor about a week and half ago since then, I jumped into buffing right at 8k. And out of the probally 300-400 buffs I have done in this time, only 5 people have jumped my case about it being to high. 3 of those were in ancorhead on the same day. I won't go back there.
The others were on theed.
I do 90% of my buffing on theed. I use +25 clothing, 110 droid.
I use no less than 830/9800/90. I have an average buffing rate of 2.4k. and Can hit 3k and have set my own personal record of 3456 on a health stat. My average 3k's are about 3050.
I urge you doctors ON ALL SERVERS. Start charging 8k. I have and it works. If I come into coronet, endor, dath, dant, and theed and see 6k i send that doc a two tells:
You need to charge 8k. I do it all the time

If you buy your stuff, buy from Matta he is excellent at making these things.
I am doing so well now That I am giving away my 8 spare lots to matta just to make me more stuff and keep the referrals I give him going.
Not to mention that if you give discounts to certain classes you get alot of those back, and those turn into word of mouth returning customers.
Example a pack from matta costs 13500. If I buff two people I just made My money back. I buff for 4k on fencer right now since that is one of my favored classes.
And I give all jedi free buffs, and because of that I am now A personal doctor to a group of 4 jedi. I won't say where I go with them because you **edit** BH's.
Also, if you find your self on a power hunter planet (dath is the best for this) I have gotten away with about 5 buffs in a row charging 10k. And that is because of the results I give. Also, I tip back 1000 for anything under 1500, (which is ok, because it does not happen often lol)

well i dont mind paying 8000 for good buffs, but i seem to get way too many 1500 and belows when i get buffs.

10k all the way and if Im on Yavin, Endor, Dathomir 20k no problem. Remember they ask you if they dont want to pay it then tell them to go back to coronet or theed and get the 6k buff.

Really? Great news! I will have to take slow stride sthere from the months of it being @ 6k. But Soon enough I will get to 15k as well

Personally 8K is not worth my time with the quality packs I make.
I charge 10-12 depending on who you are.
I have no problem selling them or the satisfaction. And if people say thats too steep just tell thm "no one is making you buy them"
I do a combination of paying and mining for resources so my time is worth something and the sheer cost can be enormous. If someone undercuts me that is fine. I have a combat profession also and can make money doing missions. So the last thing I do is undercut myself

My prices have changed along the way. I started out offering cheap 3k low-level (enhance b's) buffs in the newbie cities when I was a novice doctor. When I got to medicine use 90 I charged 6k for buffs using experimented down enhance d's. At Master Doctor with +25 inj/wound treatment BE clothing I usually charge 10k using 899-902 base packs for everything but action (923+). If I'm in a hurry or trying to do something else and someone really needs a buff I'll do it for slightly more, or if I'm on an "elite planet" like dath or endor I may charge more. If I happen to give a particularly bad buff (if one hits for under 1200 for example) I'll usually refund 1k or so, but it depends on how well the rest were also.
I'm also willing to "trade" buffs for resources that I need, especially things I can't get myself (meats).

I think 8k for a buff is fine. Considering the payout I get from receiving it, it's actually a low price.
If I am on Dathomir or Endor, I'll pay a lot more. After all the travel and downtime to get back to "civilization" would be more expensive. Why don't people realize that.
I am amazed to see docs buffing in the science outpost on Dathomir for 6k. People save around 8k on travel tickets + 20 mins of travel time (if unlucky). So, 15-20k there would be fair. After all the Doctor is doing you a service by being there.

Going rate on Valcyn is 6-8k.....but with that comes things like my friend who when I am not on asks other docs for buffs. He only uses master docs and has had two horrbile......read......800 enhance???...buff sessions, and neither doc refunded anything. Personally if I hit below 1200 they get a refund on that stat...how is a master hitting for 800-1400 I would like to know, are they not using d's?? This is probably why people are not willing to pay more because some idiots on Valcyn wear the master doctor title and give crappy buffs, so people figure why pay more in case it sucks? I personally am trying to get my friend a list of good masters who have good buffs so when I am not on he wont get crappy buffs. I am starting to only buff friends and pa members, but when I do buff people say wow what a great buff. It is all in the packs, clothes, and droid I tell them. And even my friends seem to tip when they see how nice of buffs they are. So if there are any Valcyn masters out there who do good buffs let me know so I can refer people to ya instead of the two my friend unfortunately found.
