Pretty sure it is, but I'll ask anyways.
Is xp conversion the only way to get the FS xp?

eh.... my main quetion is do FS skills really help you in jedi, which the skill i myself be talken about is force experiment..... i dont wana craft all that exp... but i will if i hear from someone who has it and how good it is for them... too bad all the jedi have their head up their ass and wont help anyone.

Well there is 16 lines right? And you only need 24 boxes to do the padawan trails so actually you dont need to do any crafting ones if you dont want to! 
Myself I took Meele accuracy and Luck.
But so far luck seems to be the oppisate, spent the day killing ns Rangers, Stalker, sentinals, got a spell weaver and a protector too and all I looted was 1 cystal and a crappy lance

yes i know :-/ but im trying to get skills that will help me in jedi..... like force experiment for crafting lightsabers.... but then my friend tells me the FS skills wont help jedi, just regular chars that dab FS.... ?? thats why im trying to find out from experienced people, does force luck change anything, does force experiment actually help you make better lightsabers? see what i mean?
so.. Cps, you said you took luck... how does it help you so far? notice anything?

What xp? My understanding there is only FS xp which ya converted from normal xp like any weapon or combat or even crafting xp. The conversion rate is a monster btw..a novice FS box is 50k FS and ya would need 150k combat xp to convert I believe.Each FS branch is like 1.22millino fs xp I think...

true enough that the exp required is the same..... but their are in fact diffrent Exp types, FS senses exp has quite a few ways to get it, healing, scout, ect....
FS crafting requires crafting exp from well...... crafting.....
i wish it was all the same exp type, then id out be fighting... enjoying it.

stryder although you do convert it I've heard you can only convert it from certine types per different lines. This may not be true but that's what i was hearing from TC. What he was saying is he doesn't want to grind all of that crafting xp.

yup.... i was stupid and wasted my free unlocks on combat lines.... mainly cuz i had no idea what i was doing..... noone in village would help me, all they do is stand in one place not saying a thing *sigh* pushes reset button for free unlocks 
lol
loli think ill craft later and work on scout / healing exp now >_<

yeah personaly I dont care what I do as long as it requires combat xp and the quest isn't too hard... MUST BECOME JEDI... btw this is why you go on the TC forums you learn everything you need there first.
