I have to say that I agree 100% that becoming Jedi should be a hardazz grind, otherwise every single player would be one, and we simply can't have that. I'm certainly up for the challenge and not only will have fun with it, but will enjoy the rewards after the work. That being said, I do have a question, and I'm sure some things are wrong with it somewhere.... which I'm hoping someone can shed some light on it for me. First, we know that FSXP is gotten through XP conversion - ok, all good with that. I'm TKM with most of Commando (don't laugh lol), and my line of choice with Jedi is going to be combat, so my obvious choice is combat XP at 30:1, especially having the 900K cap plus being able to throw in the extra 90K combat XP. Ok, so I'm starting out with this, have my Prowess Novice and am planning to run the Melee Speed branch. I was somewhat confused on what goal specifically is the target to have done during a village cycle of 3 weeks, and was told that one branch is what's needed per cycle. You with me so far? LOL Ok, if so, let's run some quick math on this, k?
To do in a 3 week period....
1.225 Million FSXP = 36.75 Million XP which since they inversed the combat ratio for the conversion, combat gives the same as unarmed, so that's you're 18 Million unarmed.
So I know I need to make 18 Million unarmed XP in 21 days, which equates to 857,142XP per day...
Is this correct? Meaning I just need to basically cap my combat XP every day for 3 weeks for this branch? I can and will do it, but am curious if I have this all down right. I capped my unarmed XP twice today alone, but I played all day and night hehe. When I go back to work, I can't do that, so I'll need to basically cap my xp 7 times over each weekend as well, to keep up with it. Ouch! LOL I'm game though..
I think my only complaint is that I was hoping for something 'different' to do, so that I actually felt like I was working towards becoming Jedi. Some content other than a cycling village to fly to for point conversions. Instead, I'm doing the same ol' thing with the same ol' stuff, yadda yadda LOL.
My only other question is... is it true that the skill mods you get when you learn the boxes only apply when you actually become Jedi Initiate or Padawan? That's what I was told, and it seems really silly to get mods when you do their, if you can't use them for another 4.5 months minimum anyway. Or do they in fact affect your skills in the meantime?
Sorry if I sound like a nOOb here, but I couldn't make it through the Jedi Trials manual I got yesterday... it was just way too thick =)

Not to mention the 50k to unlock the novice block. Only needs to be done once per FS skill set though.

I did the entire persuasion branch with using only healing exp. Took me maybe 2.5 weeks i used a combo of buffing/pet trick/kill-rezz macro.
Was a pain in the butt and i dont recomend doing medical for an entire branch but i did make a hella of a lot of cash from the buffing

the only bad thing is the cap is 80k. So thats only 8k FS xp so 1.225 million divided by 8k FS xp = 154 trips to village just to get 4 boxes in 1 branch. So basically if you buff for 2300 on your stats you can basically cap your xp after 11 buffs. So that equals to 1654 people you need to buff to get one complete branch.
