Thread: Buffing Twi'lek

Ok, so I recently mastered Doctor and one of my guildmates (who so happens to be a Twi'lek) told me that my buffs were hitting the 3 hour 45 minute mark. Well, I'm all happy because the base strength of the buff was fairly good. Fast forward a bit to me buffing people in Theed. I asked them to confirm the length of my buffs and sure enough, it was 3 hours and 24 minutes long. Well, I'm all confused now because I don't know what's going on with the times on my buffs.
So, I buff the guildmate again when his current buffs wear off and it's 3 hours and 45 minutes again. I try with another guildmate (who is a Twi'lek as well) and 3 hours and 45 minutes shows up in her buff window.
Anyways, my question is... Do Twi'lek's have some sort of racial bonus to the timer on the enhancements they get?

where were you buffing them and keep track of everything that might have made a diffrence (IE droid med usage and where outside or inside a house, hall or med center, even if you might have changed clothing ) keep track of any changes between locals
Im buffing my twi lek musician later and a non twi lek to see if any difference later today

yes, its been mentioned before that twileks for som reason, get different timers....
why?

Yes, they do! I buffed a human for 3 hrs 45 min and the Twi'lek was buffed with the same packs right after for 4 hrs 5 min.
GO FIGURE!!!
What's makes them so special? LOL ....

I had a fellow MD metion this to me awhile back.
I broke out a new set of buffs, food, checked my clothes and went to work, I buffed two twelikis, 2 humans and one wookie. I had them all report the times, both them reported longer buff times, it seems to be a hidden racial bonus, or possably a bug? (seems unlikely) I have repeated this later on dant while buffing for shinies to get back home, same result.

This has also puzzled me for some time, both my characters are twi'leks and could not work out why their buffs are 30 mins more than other races, possible hidden racial bonus huh...interesting.

try it on zabaraks, i think they have a shorter buff time, because of the willpower thing, and a longer dancer buff.... not 100% sure but, eh, u are a speice, delete yo' dude if u dont like the downs and ups of 'em hehe..... 4441 Doc Osicp Itaf

Yes, My doctor buffs my Smuggler (Twi'lek) and the buff timer is higher than what it normally would be. Must be something special about Twi'lek's which is cool with me lol.
