I wonder how you can make someone elses droid take off?
In the future, soon asa person tries to blackmail you again in chat like that, type /report <his name>.

I've never heard of or seen this, but if you know how it's being done, please PM Taurin. If someone does it to you and blackmails you, do what knocky said... /report

supposedly, you can just type /summon and it will do it. although, I tested it last night on a buddies pet and it didn't work, never tried a droid though.
Just set up a macro that loops
/targ (droid name);
/summon;
/macro summon;

I've been hearing about this and this is very bad, especially right now with the number of people harassing and griefing doctors on my server and the amount of available public buffing doctors are decreasing, making finding a doctor is next to impossible unless you go to Coronet to find 4 doctors competing with each other and long ass lines. I myself don't public buff and haven't done so in a while.
I'd just /report and ticket the guy as well as end the buffing session or move the buffing to the hospital. Hopefully this kind of harassmant and griefing will end when school starts again.

Apparently it only works just on droids. They just spam /summon with the droid targeted and it ends up following them. I'm not sure what steps they made when they pulled out their droid. Itell mine to"stay" and then I buff. I did read about someone else having the same problem, sorry I don't remember which thread it was.

Make sure you put them on your ignore list, your /shopban and /cityban....theres more than one way to pay back an exploiter

No it works on Pets too. I just wanted to see if it would work and had no intentions of using it for malicious purposes so I looked for an afk spammer for the test. I won't get too specific on how to get it to work but it does work on pets as well as droids.
Once it worked, I had to get on my bike an travelout of it's line of sight before it stopped following me. I had no idea what commands this pet had so getting it to stay didn't work. It kept chasing me. I will admit I was lmao having this pet follow me out of town but it's handler was afk and I had no way of making it stop follow me once it started..... I won't repeat that again unless it's with a guildie that is atk.
Taking a pet from an afk spammer is one thing but this needs to be fixed ASAP since the greifing potential to Docs is huge. Paying blackmail to get it stopped is foolish and only encourages it. Report anyone immediatly for stealing your droid.

This happened to me two nights ago but no one ever asked for money to make it stop. The problem is that things get so busy that it is hard to see who is doing it. I'm concentrating ongetting my buffs out and before I know what happend, my droid is gone. I can call him back pretty quickly though. I will try the ignore thing if I see who is doing it.

If you train your droid with the "stay" command and tell it to stay put right after pulling it then this exploit does not work.

That happend to a doc that was buffing my alt yesterday.VERY ANNOYING i can imagine.

When you call your droid out - tell it to *stay* no one should be able to summon it then.
