hmm, I didnt realize it worked on things other than helper droids (which is all i have used it on). Since it does work on med droids this is a real problem, perhaps if it happens get everyone in your line to /report this person at once, i know from expierience that enough people reporting at once leads to immediate action.

A massive problem on my server too, I have had my droid hijacked several times over the last 48hrs, I found that informing the buff line of the problem and the perpetrator can reap huge rewards, and tickets and /report has proved useful too, regardless of this, a major prob for us poor overworked over hassled docs, and seemingly a new sport for the childish element of the game (figuratively - not neccesarily literally), I spotted another master doc running through theed centre last night with 5 helper droids, and at least 6 other droids in tow, however I may also have an alternative solution to the problem, I possess 2 med droids, 1 load lifter, and 1 mouse, if I use the mouse it is possible to bring out the mouse before I take my seat, sit on my droid and ppl have huge difficulty in targeting the droid, seems to lessen the problem at least.

The fix is to tell your Pet to stay according to the posted thread that will override the the /summon command from another person.
Oh and every person tht emotes that should be followed up with a /report
But that's just me and I'm bitter.

I had someone try this with me the other night, but he didn't know what would happen. He just started running around the starport yelling **edit**..........**edit**............**edit**......... Why is this thing chasing me?............**edit**..............**edit**. When I could stop laughing, I was able to store it when he ran past me again!

Mmaxx wrote:No it works on Pets too. I just wanted to see if it would work and had no intentions of using it for malicious purposes so I looked for an afk spammer for the test. I won't get too specific on how to get it to work but it does work on pets as well as droids.Once it worked, I had to get on my bike an travel out of it's line of sight before it stopped following me. I had no idea what commands this pet had so getting it to stay didn't work. It kept chasing me. I will admit I was lmao having this pet follow me out of town but it's handler was afk and I had no way of making it stop follow me once it started..... I won't repeat that again unless it's with a guildie that is atk.Taking a pet from an afk spammer is one thing but this needs to be fixed ASAP since the greifing potential to Docs is huge. Paying blackmail to get it stopped is foolish and only encourages it. Report anyone immediatly for stealing your droid.
Try using /pet on the droid or pet.... supposedly that is another command that will affect our pets and make them stop moving... which would stop them after a /summon...
I have heard that on some servers people are taking the merchent barker droids from theed and running them off the waterfall.

When you call your droid out - tell it to *stay* no one should be able to summon it then.
You can /summon the droid even if it has been given the stay command. I have tested it after someone pulled my med droid away mid buff. It can be done, doesn't go as easily but it will go.
IMHO someone does it to you, they are griefing you by expoiting a known(it is becoming a greater problem so it is known) bug.
/report on sight is my S.O.P. now

Just a small update:
The devs are aware of this issue and looking into a solution for it. I didn't realise it was the same issue as the CH issue.

Had this happen to me twice last night, after I told it to stay. So this is not working. Seams that it's becoming a game with some people.

LLZero wrote:supposedly, you can just type /summon and it will do it. although, I tested it last night on a buddies pet and it didn't work, never tried a droid though.Just set up a macro that loops/targ (droid name);/summon;/macro summon;
I tried it on a droid of a friends last night, I spammed /summon and even tried /beckon. Neither worked.. even after he made me his bots friend neither worked..
