How do i deny services to another player...ive been attacked by overt imps (whileTEFd for buffing an overt reb) and slain on more than 1 occasion...only to have them return a few hours l8r and stand in my line for a buff...i usually wait till its there turn and tell them to **edit** off...there usual response is "cmon man, dont hold a grudge"..."imnot holding a grudge!you attacked a doc that was sitting down withhis back turned...so, i refuse to buff a coward" (master rifleman..i can defend myself..some) n e way.. enough whining...if you know how to deny services please post it here..many other docs will thank you

Using /addignore is the fastest way to deny service. However, I always keep my No Heal list in my bio. Simply place this person's name on your no heal list, and if you want, place their guild on the list too. If they keep bugging you, click on him to see who's grouped with (little group icons by their names) him and start saying that this person and that person is now on your no heal list. I have one person on the server that is a jerk everytime I see him and he jumps from guild to guild, so every time I see him I have to change what guild is banned.

Yup, in the medic field, denying service is as simple are remembering which a$$hat DBd you and is stupid enough to expect you to return the favor by buffing them, or even bothering to heal 5 health wounds for them.

Some people in this game are blissfully unaware that being ana$$hat has consequences.

It is a good idea to keep a list. I check it frequently along with what the person did. If they are on the list, they don't get anything from me.

I've had a fewasshatscome up months after they did something rude and I had no problems denying them service. Most never remember so I always re-educate them on what they did.

Has any servers had luck keeping a doctor's mail list among the docs to warn of possible asshats? Or is it too hard to do with some docs injecting personal grudges into the mix?

I don't quite understand this. What "deny services"? Can't you just not buff/heal them? I'm new to this doc thing, can someone explain the confusion?

He dont want to buff someone that either 1) killed him or 2) was just a complete ass. I cant blame him, but i dont understand the complaint that some docs make " why did you kill me!?!?!?!" Ifyou dont want to be killed, stay out of the war. Dont buff overts.

Ok,I can understand the being an ass part then, especially if it was from another day and you can't quite remember. But the killing, I say (however annoying it might be if you don't notice the Overt) that its all fair game.

The issue here is people who just got through killing you (as part of the war) being amazed that they (as part of the war) are not going to get buffs from someone on the other side that they just got through killing.

I don't understand why you're taking issue with this, unless you go around DBing people and then expect them to just forget that you did that to them less than 8 hours ago.

Which is why they are not just asshats, but STUPID asshats.

I tend to get lucky with this, and the few times I got a TEF while buffing overt rebs, the imps were respectful enough to ignore me. Even better, the buffed reb waited around to defend me until the TEF went away! How cool is that?

Anyone who isn't confused doesn't really understand what's going on.
