this is a quote from the latest patch notes and i have to say that this sux


i am a doctor who heals pets to get mega exp and help people who cannot heal as fast as me (1500 HA each heal)


now i won't heal them anymore cause there is no point for me to do this unless i get tipped (which never happens for docs anyway)


what do u think

not a big deal...wasnt that hard to get med xp anyways

makes it hard to get to master doc without ever talking to anyone though. Which is more important to some people then I'll ever understand...

there was maybe 10 creature handlers when I became a MD so I know it's more than possible to do it with heal pets. Plus since people know that medic/doctors won't get xp from it they might PAY for you to do it.

Glad to see pet-healing go. It was just another way that medical XP was made way too easy to acquire.


I wonder if it includes faction pets? It's pretty ridiculous that I can heal an AT-ST (a vehicle) with a stimpack, but it makes sense to be able to heal a stormtrooper or specforce commando.

Oops misunderstood. It's only the XP that has been removed, not the ability to heal the pets. In that case I still find it weird that I can stim an AT-ST.

Might be a decent money maker for you guys. Since you no longer get xp ch's might be willing to pay for it.

This is horrible as a master tialor and aspiring master doctor I get absolutely nothing now in my groups. I have no offensive skills my friends and I just use faction pets to do our fighing for us so when I just heal my pet or my friends I get nothing for it a huge waste of time and stim packs for me. grrrrrr....

To answer a previous poster's question, you do not get EXP for healing Faction Pets either. My personal opinion is that it makes it tougher to get experience, but I think it's the right way to go. Healing pets was way to easy of a way to get those Doc levels.

This really bites for CH unless they up the regen rate on the creatures. They already take forever to heal and if nobody gets xp for it, nobody will be overeager to heal them. BE medpacks are an option for the CH to counter it, but they tend to be expensive and rare. (how many BEs do you know?)
