Well, last week I went through factory crates of buffs, with 6 sets of buffs in each crate (and one crate per buff-type).

This week, I'm out of Avian Meat. I've been to every planet that I can think of, trying to kill anything that flies, and PRAYING I get some avian meat. Only two planets on my server (Starsider) had good-quality avian meat - Tatooine, and Rori.

I don't know of much on those planets that has avian meat. On tatooine, I was able to kill nunas for some avian meat, but being that I only have novice scout, I only got a measely 2 units per creature, and only 4 creatures per lair. Not nearly enough!

Rori was a little bit better with 8 units per creature, and 5-7 creatures per lair. But still not good enough.

You see, for herbivore meat, there is a big creature (such as dewbacks, pikets, or bolly bols) on almost every planet, that carries it. Same for carnivore meat. But what bugs me, is when some of the smaller flying creatures on these SAME planets has carnivore or herbivore meat. Take Endor, for instance. Latern birds have carnivore meat. On tatooine, the mynocks have herbivore meat. I could kill a bantha if I wanted herbivore meat on that planet.

So many things on that planet already carry herbivore meat. Why can the mynocks not carry avian meat? They do fly, after all....

Anyway. back to the point. Is there any kind of list where I can look up which creatures spawn which type of resource on each planet? For example, i wasn't able to find ANYTHING that spawned avian meat on Endor, but according to a few others, it does exist. What do I kill there for avian meat? And why is this VERY necessary resource, so incredibly difficult to find? It's worse than dolovite iron and class 4 liquid petrochem!

Believe me Delfina, i feel your pain as far as Avian meat goes. Starsider hasnt had decent Avian meat in a VERY long time it seems. Id also be very interested in seeing some kinda list of what creatures drop avian meat etc if someone has one theyre willing to share. It sure would make life ALOT easier.

All starterplanets are a pain for hunters. The critters might be easy to kill, but the amount harvested is mediocre at best.

I totally feel your pain! I have NO scout and only Novice Pistoleer, so hunting is not even an option for me.

My advice...make friends with hunters! And/or have the hunters in your guild supply you with meats (herbivore also).

The Allakhazam bestiary is nice, but it's somewhat incomplete im some areas. I just did a little checking and noticed some holes.

On Rori, however, you can find avian meat on Vir Vurs and Rasps. The Rasps don't provide much meat, but the Vir Vurs can be very nice. There are many variations of them with the Timid Vir Vurs having ~500 HAMS and dropping about 11 units of avian meat (with Hunting 4) to the Midnight Vir Vurs with ~6000 HAMS and dropping around 40 units of avian meat.

Unfortunately, I'm not strong enough to get Midnight Vir Vur missions on my own, but I've had pretty good luck running acrossrandom spawns of them in the moutains West of Narmle.

Naboo has a very high population of kaadu. They drop Avian meat. And with basic Scout they give anywhere from 9-18 units.

Naboo has Peko Peko (including a giant variety), Kaduu (big ground birds), Nuna, and maybe something else. Both Peko Peko and Kaduu provide useful amounts of meat, although not quite enough for factory runs.

Lok has pharples and perleks and those annoying birds.

By those annoying birds, I assume you mean Flits.

Unfortunately, the avian meat on Naboo, Starsider is VERY poor quality right now, with an OQ of just 24. So that's not an option at all.

I just wish I could find out what drops avian meat on Dantooine andEndor.

I just bought 11k units of 950OQ, 550PE, 350DR at 15cpu (yeah thats 170k worth of meat) from Booth, who is dropping doctor. He may have some other stacks left. If he doesn't have any left and you still can't find any, I can sell you a small stack of what I've acquired just to get you through this avian meat drought.

Yeah that 170k really hurt the pocket book, but it was worth it. It took me a good hour and a half to earn it all back from killing kalimurths. Then I realized it was worth it since I spent that much time collecting less than 1k of crappy meat off perleks on Lok the day before.

You know what's really annoying? Those lantern birds on Endor (or is it Yavin)... they don't drop avian meat. It's like wild meat or something. How canit not have avian meat if it says "bird" in the title and has feathers?!

Ahazi server has had a bad run as well. I just bought 25k of 900+oq/895pe old shift avian for 35 cpu!!!!!

On the 2 servers I'm normally on that is about a third of the price you would normally pay. On Eclipse that meat would probably go 40-50cpu. Tempest probably at least 30cpu. Even if it was currently harvestable.
