Thread: BE Doc Clothing Bonuses

Anyone know if the bug is fixed that gives the bonuses for BE clothes for med use and stuff. I have a hood that gives +11 Med Use +9 Wound Treatment and +10 Healing and the bonuses do not work. THey show up in the skill mods but when I try to use something above my base it says I do not have the required skill. Just curious if it is fixed I need new stuff, if not guess I should just wait for doc to get fixed...

I think they nerfed the med use and additional creature skill mods. I have +11 wound treatment and it helps out a lot with buffing so im sure they work.

I don't notice any difference with buffing or healing wounds when I'm wearing my+15 Injury treatment, +14 Wound Treatment Duster. So I think they're bugged still.

No, I think the treatment mods work. I went from having 2700 max buffs to about 3200 max buffs with the same packs after I started wearing two pieces of +14 wound treatment/+14 injury treatment clothing.


Med use, on the other hand, has been officially removed by the devs. They don't want non-medics using stims, it seems.

So clothes mods stack then? I was wondering about that. Was thinking of getting a +14 wound treatment undershirt to combine with my Duster.

They stack up to the max bonus of +25, yes.

Ease Of Use is unaffected by skill modes. They never worked before and they've been yanked since. The old ones still show a modifier to Med Use levels, but they will never work.


The ones taht DO work are Treatment, Treatment Speed, Experimentation and so on. All of those work just fine and will stack up to a total of +25. They will show more than that on your Skills page, but they only actually work up to a +25.

I am referring to the Ease of use that doesn't work in experimentation

Thats crap they should just make it so you have to have novice in a skill to use the mods... They better fix this **edit** ease of use **edit** soon...

Do the +experimentation skill tapes actually give you more experimentation points?

Yep. Every +1 gives you one extra EP. Since they cap at +25 the max extra EPs you can get is 2 for a total Max at Doc Crafting 4 of 12 EPs.
