I am a master doc on Bloodfin, i was just trying to get a general idea from all the doc's, as to if you buy your enhance-d's, or make them yourself?

I play on Bloodfin. I make them myself and use them myself. I sell hardly any at all.

I buy most of mine, there is a DR on my server that sells crates of buff packs, 5 per crate, 26-28 uses each, for 20K per crate. good deal i think. thou i am gathering resources to make my own, just need to go hunting for avian and herb meat.

I end up making them myself and using them myself. When I was still working on master doc I had my friendly neighborhood doc supplier make me a few Enhance B's and C's, but since then I found it more cost effective to just make my own.

Wow that's a good price on your server what's the base heal.

In answer I make them myself but I've gotten so frustrated with the crap I get from people when a buff fails that I've given up buffing completely with the exeception of my self and my guildmates.

I buy occasionaly but only if I'm in a pinch.

I find it hard to believe that it is more cost effective and efficient to make your own. I just dont see how that's possible. It's so much easier to go buy a bunch of them, and use them on yourself and others (occaisionally) when you need some extra scratch to go buy more. On the other hand, I'm always in the hunt for them when I'm not hunting, so maybe it is a waste of time. I just wish there was some mega-pharmacy on Bloodfin that never sold out.

btw, i might want to add that on my server, both avian and herb meat are i really bad quality right now and have been for some time. so thats higher then most buffs you will find on my server.

It is easier because we don't have to wait for a third patry to make them and post them. You are never going to see a fully stocked pharmacy because there are usually going to be a few mindsets. People like me and the others in the post above who want to be self suffiicient. It doesn't take that much time to make a set of buffs. And with 30 per set, lasting 3.3 hours, unless you are buffing for profit you are going to last awhile with those. I made a full set of buffs, a crate of 20 each since I didn't want to do a full 50. I have had them last a long, long time just buffing friends.

The next type of person you are going to find is the one who is willing to make a business of it. But as you can see the components for it are going to be the things that are going to limit how much you can make. I asked for help to harvest avian meat from my guild, I didn't get any. Then half of them wonder why I won't make tons of buff packs to sell to other doctors in the guild. They are a good set of people for the most part, but I busted my butt for a week making avian meat runs to Naboo and don't have the resources to provide for others who aren't willing to make that commitment.

The last type are those who don't want to craft but want the benefits of the class. If you don't want to craft, well that is fine, but don't complain about the fact there aren't any stocked vendors out there if most people aren't going to want to craft either and instead play the game. You have to devote a lot of time and heartache to setting up a business and having it run all the time.

Home made. I also don't sell them as I only go after high end resources I'd hate to part with them and have lesser buffs for my friends down the road.

If I can find some way of getting an extraordinary amount of herbivore/avian meat, then I might start selling them.
