I'm working on my character template, and I've got a question for you Master Docs out there:

Do any of the pharms that Doctors use have a high enough Medicine Use requirement, over 90, that you need to be a Master Doctor to use them, or is it just a requirement to craft them?

thanks for any info

A stim D pack can be experimented down to work with Pharm 4, but then we crafting doctors loose some potential heal power from the lost experiment point. with master medic, you get 10 more medicine use points, which enables you to use D's that have had all their experiment points dumped into effectiveness and no ease of use.

Epic, he was asking about Master Doctor, not Mater Medic.. anyhow, if i had an answer i would give it to ya, but since im only half way up the crafting tree, i dunno yet.

I didn't think there was until I made a Cure Poison Medpack - C last night. Medical User Requirement: 98.

I experimented it down to 92 and still can't use it. My guess is that the disease medpacks are similar, but I've never made one. But, I guess there are at least a couple items out there that only master docs can use.

I am not home atm, so I cannot really verify hard numbers. However the higher end enhancements and cures, natually have a higher med skill use requirment.

From what I've seen, Enhance Ds shouldn't be a problem. Cure Cs I can imagine being too high, but I'm not really worried about those. I'm sure a well-crafted B will do fine.

Thanks for the info guys!

You can get those Cure poison C packs below 80 med usewith experimenting on ease, but i'm guessing this will also hamper their efficiency. Haven't done any testing yet, but maybe a Cure poison B experimented only on efficiency would be better then a Cure poison C with 80 med use.

A little off topic, but is it uncommon to have stimpacks come out naturally at a lower skill use? My Stim-Ds come out at 40 med use naturally, my Cs at 30... I've seen so many ppl say they have to experiment it down, and have had people flat out tell me I was wrong [even though I am a Master Doctor and have been crafting them myself for awhile now]...

Depending on the materials you use, yes it can get a lower medical use.

I critically failed on an Enhance pack D's effieciency (to the point of 0% effectiveness yay!) so I managed to experiment UP its ease of use to 91 I think. Aside from the incredibly underwhelming cure Poison C pack (experimented to 90% effectiveness, but still didn't stop an Area Poison C in one shot!) and cure Disease pack C I don't know of anything requiring master doctor. Although I have not yet made an E wound heal pack (C's and D's seem to be working fine).

I'm a Novice Doctor 2 2 2 1, and was wondering when you can use rez kits?I know you need Master Wound Treatment, but what's the required medicine use on them?

Medicine use on a ressurrection kit is usually in the low 50's when I make them, sometimes a lot lower depending on the materials...have one that is 44 on me with no pts into ease of use.
