Thread: Stim B sale prices? (please read)
I have been selling off my Stim B's to medic dabblers lately. The stats are 377/35 and I use alladvanced components. I have been selling them for 8K per crate of 10.
What prices would be charged for these on you server?
The reason Im asking is that one of my PA members sent me tells saying I was ripping off people. Given the time, effort, and money that went into creating them, I dont think I am ripping off people....but I want to gauge prices here just to be sure.
Please help me out.
Thanks for the response moshi. What does the Mall owner sell them for?
And how do you get your Stim B's up so high without Advanced Components?
Thanks.
This sort of thing though is the reason i keep stims with only adv liquid - cheap, and people like them, esp when they dont realize what goes into a better one.
I sell my 410/36 use stim B's in crates of 15 on Kauri for 27k to 30k. From what I've read on many other servers, around 1500-2000 per stim b is usual when you use all advanced components. Of course it could vary greatly depending on the server's economy I suppose.
And btw, my stim's fly off the shelves, but I ocassionally get someone who complains I'm ripping people off. They say it because they only have 1000 credits to their name and can't afford the high end products ![]()
Hi. New to the med profession, don't have that schematic yet.
When you say "advanced component," do you mean the BEC, LS, and CRDM? Are these optional?
Does the schematic require herbivore meat?
it´s not only the ressources but also the huge amount of time to gather these
on Gorath i charge 850 - 1k for Bs in the early 300,
Stims with 350 an more are oing for up to 2000 - 2500 Credits
2k is a good base price for top quality stim B's, whatever that may be on your server.
If you are seeing people making better, or you are using some normal components, drop your price a little accordingly.
But on the whole, forget what everyone else is doing, forget other servers, forget people claiming you are ripping them off and forget what is "fair".
If you are selling out, either stick to your price or raise it, if you can't sell them, drop your price.
Thanks Soren. So all the subcomponents I mentioned can be made standard or advanced, and the Advanced BEC required Herbivore meat?
I've checkd the usual suspects (swgcraft and swgresourcecenter) and I can't find schematic info for this stuff. Anyone know where I can look at the schematics for Stim-B s and their sub-components? Maybe someone would be kind enough to post screenshots?
Thanks.
I'm on Shadowfire and med prices are cheaper on shadowfire than other servers. That said, I sell 300-325 heal, 23-25 use stim Bs (1-2 advanced components, depending on my mood) for 500 cr. each, seperate or in crate form. I know I am a bit cheap, but (1) being on Talus I need to undercut competition because the hunting population is a bit smaller, and (2) I need the money so I make up in volume what I may otherwise get in price.
I do a lot of turnover, which is my counter to "you should sell them higher" argument. With #1 from above I've built a good reputation and have a good repeat customer base, and #2 keeps my volumes high. When I don't need the money as much (doubt that time will come) I'll probably raise prices.
Just a different angle to the question of what to charge. Sometimes I run to Coronet and put 20 of these stim Bs on the market and sell out within a few hours, while there are otherstim Bs on there for 1000 creds. I just made 10k pretty quick.
