I understand this is a good all round class in PVE/PVP.. I would like to know how far do u need to go up the doctor branch to be able to buff yourself nicely? What branches to take first in TK? I am currently doc 0-2-2-0 tk novice marksman 0-0-3-3 master medic. I have like 70 med use, what quality enhance packs can I use?

Thanks in advance

I am a Master Doc/ Master TK and I absolutely love it. I have never been a big pvp guy but have had a couple friendly duels and did pretty good.

Being that I was a Doc before going TK, I went up the power line first, then went up the line that gives knockdown 2 and finaly the meditate line.

My Bro in law is currently working on this template as well and I made some enhance packs for him last night. B's had a med use of 65, C's were 75 and the D's I use are med use of 90+ ususally 91 or 93. So to use D's you will have to master Doc. If you are planning on being able to buff then I would say shoot for the D's. The amount they land for and the duration they have make it well worth it IMO.

Hope some of this info helps ya out and Good Luck to ya.

TKM + Master Doc = WIN

I love my template and I levelled just like the previous poster. I've done every combat profession in the game and by far this is my favorite. TKM is just plain fun, plus god help any rebels I catch in close quarters. But I'm a nice girl, I'll heal them after I DB them.

I'm a Master Doc and about to master CH, but getting bored of CH. Was thinking about dumping all my hard work (yes, hard, didn't start on CH until after it got more difficult ), and picking up a combat skill of some type. Had narrowed it down to either pistol or TKA for obvious reasons, is being a TKA/Doc not a pain? I kind of figured it would be, having to be in close-quarters to fight something, and then having to run to heal someone.

Do you spend a lot of time wasting half of your skill points, because you can't fight and heal at the same time, like a pistoleer could? Or is it a fun enough combo that this just doesn't matter to you?

Thanks.

I'm going Master Doc and working on TKM and I don't bother healing when in group. I put on my TKM tag and will use my Doc skill only when I need to rez someone. Most people already have Novice Medic and 400 base Stim B so I don't waste my time healing them

TK is really fun.. but be ready for some frustration and adaptation in pvp. If you cant get close to someone, you will not be able to hit them.. and as doc as your second class, you wont be able to shoot them. I love being doc/tka. I woop tail pve. Just have a strategy for getting close. Good luck.

FYI - Unarmed Lunge attacks have been known to hit kiters up to 24m away. I know it's not exactly rifle range but at least it's something.

Another TKM/MD, I love it too, only prov is there aren't enough SP to let me run up hills with any speed at all. I find this to be a problem because I have to get close to an enemy to do damage, and if they are on top of a hill. I'm gonna take a bunch of shots. Last night i came within one shot of gettin mind incaped while trying to get back into AH while a BH just pumped eyeshots into me.

Lol! Ive seen TONS of people with the same TK/Doc combo, and to be truthful, Doc and any Melee combo is excellent as the buffs and meds help keep you alive while you getting beat up.

Personally, I am Master Doc / Novice Heavy Swordsman, and its going really well! Hopefully, when the combat changes go through, each melee profession will have a type of 'skill' area. Like TK's having No AP, Swordsmen have an AP medium.

Although, at the moment, TK is the best melee profession (with KD, Dizzy etc) I feel that given a while, the devs will give us ALL a good fighting role to play in the GCW.

And my defence on having to run to heal people: If im in a group, I am the doctor. I heal, and defend if needed, otherwise, I wont engage. I took up a melee profession to help me solo.
