Thread: Hey 10k per buff docs post here!!

I was hoping all docs who charge 10k or less per buff set could post here with name and server so when i logg on and have poeple complain about my prices i can send them to you and you can handle all the cheapskates and you will makea ton of money. For you docs who think we are way overpriced then it is time for you to make a stand and undercut us ALL. Dont let the greedy docs ruin the game for everyone who plays. Put us in our place and run us out of business

Just out of curiousity how much are you charging for your buffs?
I charge 12k for mine.... usually they're 2300's for 3.5hrs. But even when I have better buffs, I've always charge 12k.

I charge 10k, as do many (most?) others on Bloodfin. My buffs are good for 2400+, 3 hours. People are usually happy with the stats but I still lose customers to other docs who have 3.5 hour durations. to me, 10k is good for 100% profit if I buy my packs, which I normally do. I don't play enought to waste my time crafting and in a little over an hour of buffing, I have all the money I need to get by. I'll never be bidding on the uber items from the forums, but I don't really care, I'm just playing to have a good time, not be the most uber player on the server.
I don't care what others charge. I've sat next to docs charging 14k for buffs only a bit better than my 10k and we both have line ups. As long as people want to hunt, no doc will go out of business. At least until the revamp...

Depends on how much the buffs cost me. I charge based upon profit, how much I'm going to make in an hour. If I'm not going to make enough for it to be worth my time they I simply won't do it. If I can charge enough to make it worth my while and people are going to pay it, well obviously the service is worth to them what my time is worth to me. If somebody doesn't like it they don't have to pay, not my damn problem, they're not entitled to it.

I hear a lot of people complaing anytime the price of buffs go up. to be honest i dont buff the public much due to the fact that they are very demanding but i think buffs are worth at least 20-30k per server for anything 0ver 2200 and 3 hours. Just based 0on the fact that whether you buy your buffs or make them a peson doing solo missions can make back the price of the buff in 15 min which leaves another 2 hr and 45min for pure profit for them. what i dont understand is why are docs selling themselves short. i would understand if you got buffed and had to run 2k mission but the fact is that w/o buffs nobody can run 30k mission by themselves. I used to charge 10k a buff just because there seem to be the unwritten value of them but yet the value of resources has blown up. i mean 300 cpu for avian meat. People paying 10 million for a rifle then complain cause we want to charge more for buffs. i dont understand it and i think you guys are selling yourself short as well. i am not saying that docs cant make a ton of money by charging 10 a set but with the value of missions and the advance in armor/weapons etc everyone is starting to jump ahead. when buffs first started you would pay 10k for 1800 and 2 hr 30 min. I realy didnt mean to sound like anjerk but i have read numerous posts of people complaining and it seems like the only people whoo post are the complainers. thats why i have very few posts i really hate reading the forums. I just ask that doc's look at the value of buffs to the consumer. What we are doing right now is selling a Porshe at the price of a Nissian Sentra.

I must agree with jacen on the fact that combat profs can make the money back in no time flat.
On another note, I have done a mokk mission in 15 minutes as an armorsmith/TKM w/o armor (would probably have done it in 5 if I had medic/doc skills). The money making profs through are only really working ONCE they get buffs, and most ppl can't even fathom doing anything serious w/o 2400+ buffs.
Personally, I undercharge a wee bit, but today I'm going to go for the standard price on my server (15k per buff) and only buff when I feel like it. Lately I've had to buff a lot because I needed to raise cash and I'm in-between combat profs.

I only ever charged 10k max, but, since it was getting to the point where all i ever heard was complaints on my prices even though my buffs hit 2400+ for 3 hrs consistantly I only buff my guildmates now if ever. It just became too much of a hassle so my doc rarely gets logged in as it stands now. I did run into a doc the other day charging 10k for 1400 buffs. I almost fell over laughing, tipped him since he had started and went on my way. Sorry for the tangent, but yeah, when I charge ,10k it is.

I always have and will continue to charge 10k for buffs. Mine are 2500 for 3h 20m. I don't usually do the coronet line thing, but I rarely refuse a person buffs if they see me run by and ask for a set.

I charge 18K - 20K a buff. 2400 3+ hours. Buy 'em don't buy 'em. No hair off my butt.

I charge 12k now that I'm an MD...before with my old 2200+ for 2hr50 mins I charged 8k...and those buffs weren't bad at all.

once i master doc im gonna log in at server restart and be the first one in coronet so i can make a monopoly and jack up my prices muahahahahaha. iv seen buffs for 20-50k if theres only one or two docs around. the only reson im doing doc is for the money

You'll doa lotbetterrunning solo missions on Dantooine and Dathomir. More money, more xp, less stress, less investmentand loot too.
