you know i dont know if there are any other fellow tempest docs on here but dang it, people charging 8-12k for a 2500 3 hour buff is a bit *low* I am trying to get folks to raise their prices so we'll be in line with each other to make more money, but people are kinda scared to raise it. From looking at other posts on here from other docs on servers, a 22-2400 for 15k seems ideal, a 2500 should be about 17K or so roughly. i think we should start a doc's union worker thingy rofl. if we ALL go up then they all can't complain about prices. just making barely 5-7k over head price for supplies just isn't making much to me. What sucks for me is like yesterday, i plop down at dantooine mining outpost, get my stuff ready, bring droid out, get bivoli ready and such start buffing folks. didn't have a problem other than they kept fooling around giving me reg tips instead of bank tips. Fortunately i was on top of it all, there wasn't much spam so i didn't mind the reg tip even tho the macro running kept saying plz bank tip. I did however have a problem with one guy who just couldn't get past the fact that in the buff session that its my services and that i'm in charge. he gets to the front, tips me, then say oh i'll brb hold my spot in line, i'm like ok thats cool. So i let him go, my guildie is the next in line. I buff him halfway, the other guy comes back and say OMG i was first thats not fair. I ask him politely to step aside i'm buffing a guildie. He does this, then continues to being a pain with his mouth. I ask him again politely to hang on a sec that i'll hook him up. he then tells me this is BS, I then tell him u know what buddy, heres your tip back, and forget your buff. Go find someone else. In my hastiness from being irritated i accidently tip him 120K instead of 12K. He then runs off and comes back about 5 mins later and asks if he could still get a buff if he gets in the back of the line. I say yes only if he behaves. so he does, then he gets to the front and asks do i still have to pay you? i'm like dude i accidently tipped you 120K, what the hell do u think that answer is? DUH!

other than that, i get irritated with folks tipping me before they get up there. Fortunately it isn't that hard on Dant, but in someplace like Coronet, this would be a pain in the butt. I refuse to buff in coronet. Anyways, thats my thoughts, and such, sorry for rambling on and on lol.....

The last buff I did I charged 2 sips of brandy for 6 stats, that's about 700-1000 credits.I was completely broke and couldn't even afford to buy some off Anchorhead bazaar as some overt imps turned up. Needless to say my spamming yielded a customer pretty soon, and I died soon after.

I run missions for cash when I have no choiceand buff mates for freeand exceptionally polite people too.

I'm not the most prolific crafter so don't worry I won't be bankrupting the Bria doc economy any day soon, especially with my patchy stats.

I sell my buffs for 12-14k (The stats are) 2400+ and over 2500+ on the action for over 3hours...I think thats a good deal..since people can go to Dant and do Janta missions and make all that back in ONE mission..Some times if i'm the only doc in coronet I will sell them for 20+.. (hey gota make a good profit some times right?)

That's daft, people can earn 1.2 mil from janta/mokk for 3 1/2 hours work, why would they quibble about paying 15k for a buff, dont sell yourselves short

One thing i would like to know is....Why don't ALL doctor's team together in coronet off and on and sell ALL buffs for like 20-25k..then all the doctors there would make a good profit....I have done this one time with a doctor friend of mine (It was like at 10pm and all the other docs were doing the FS quests)..It was amazing how much more money we made doing it..But then the 10k buff docs came in....(i'm sure you know what happened after that:lightsaber
