I am curious what the doctors do in terms of gathering resources?

Do you buy most of your stuff on the bazaar or in vendors?

Do you have a combat proffesion and gather them yourselves?

Do you have friends/guildies who gather the resources for you?

All of the above?

(I assume that most ppl have thier own harvestors for the planet spawns, so these questions are in relation to things, you cant get with harvestors- such as meats etc)

I noticed, that some items require identical serial numbers(ie factory crate items) of certain components, Do you guys and gals, mostly buy those items?

Use your own factories?

Or again get friends/guildies to produce them from their factories?

Thanks for your answers. Hope you all have a wonderful day =)

What will you do now, that you previously believed you could not do?

For meat, I just bark at the local Starport. When a good spawn of a resource hits, I usually put down 30 harvs (with the help of friends of course) and suck up about 3.5 million units of the stuff. Anything I don't have, I buy.

Personally, I pay for meat harvests. When I started out, I would shout a little at starports and got a few hunters that way.

Keep a list of everyone that ever offers you meat. Keep it updated and send out emails to them when a new spawn is identified. Some will appreciate the notice and opportunity for some quick cash. If they don't deliver any good for some period of time, simply drop them from the list. Newbs are a great source of cheap labor if you spend a little time to find em

As for machine harvestables, get together with some fellow crafters of other professions and start a little harvester co-op. That's what I did and now, I can effectively harvest with 20-30 lots at a time if the spawn is really that good. As long as you are not all doctors, the spawns don't overlap all that often.

while on Flurry, don't visit Ojes Yobe's Liquidation Vendors just 800M from Theed starport on Naboo (neg5219 3419) - cause they ain't there anymore! They are now exclusively located in Mos Athens Mall

Im actually surprised at that too.

In Bloodfin only way to get hunters to offer decent quatities of meat is to offer them at least 150 cpu for it. Last good spawn most of the Docs where offering 275 cpu. (It was avian from Corellia, which is a bummer to hunt, but still).

And now, that JTL was released, next time there is a good spawn of avian,Im actually scared to think of how much we will actually have to offer to encourage people to hunt.

LoL. Once you start needing 200k + of avian you will see that relaying only on your friends hunting for you it's really not enough.

Thats good for you then. But for people like myself who have a Doc business, when a good spawn hits our servers we need as much as we can get our hands on.
