Thread: Scematic 100 max?!?! time to double or triple prices....
I dont even know about exploit to raise it over 100 items, and have no troubles making and selling meds. If you are so lazy to make several schems - well, raise the price and see your business ruined.

If you're referring to Holo asking for people's opinion on the subject, I wouldn't necessarily say that implies that they don't intend to keep it at 100...
But if you're referring to something else Holo said that would imply what you're saying could you please post it?

hehe would you say Kmart was lazy if they're production was cut by 90% and they made an outcry? Same thing...for my buisness and others. Many may be fine poping out just 1 or 2 50 crates a day but, my friend some of us are larger buisnesses than others.
Myself, i sell about 300 items every day, that includes my crates of 10, 25, and 50 along with loose items.
when working on a large scale, scematics of 100 would hamper us, it means only 100 components would have the same serial number. this means that every 2 crates, we would need to make a new scematic and refill the factory.
Oh......not to mention it would make it IMPOSSIBLE to make 50 crates of Stim E's, Wound E's, Enhance D's, rez packs, and all high end CM supplies.....and yes those sell...very well in fact.
What this change would really do is tie doctors to their factories. Where as before I could pop in a run of 600 components and leave it til the next day, now I'd have to check every 1.5-2 hours and reload a new schematic for the next 100 components. Not fun at all. Do they think I like to troll around my factory the ENTIRE time I'm playing the game?
Idag's right. For anyone that was in the crafting market BEFORE they fixed factories, they probably already know what to expect. During that time, most people (myself included) resorted to unloading every item into the input hopper to make the dang factory run properly - which meant you could only make 32 stims at a time.
At that time, I got orders faster than I could make items. I had people tell me that they were actually "happy" that the wait for a crate of stims would only be a week. ![]()
If they put this back into effect, it's going to hurt the big players in the market. We simply won't be able to make items fast enough to keep up with demand. The other problem is that, while I can currently start up my factory and let it run all night or day, if they put this into effect, I'll kick it off at night, it'll run for four hours, and it'll burn up maintenance costs the rest of the time without doing anything. ![]()
I dunno about the rest of you but based on the amount i sell no matter the price of my stims, if this 100 max goes, and stays in effect i am sooooooo increasing the cost of my stims. Currently on flurry my Advanced B's go for 2k a piece (cheap from what ive heard) i kept them that price when i could get more because a could make huge amounts.
Now that thats buggered, and im gunna have to babysit my factories im planing on selling adv. B's for 4-6k a peice! that way they'll sell slower, ill still make a level income and can mantaine balance.
hehe at the amount of items i make and sell, i honestly can say i believed 1k scematics were too small. would have liked 5k scematics...
What are the cons of keeping the schematic limit of 1000?
Icannot see any problems at keeping the current system as is.
I read the Dev's post indicating that 1000 was a bug, but they didn't expand upon it more than that.
Please enlighten me as to the negative effects of having a schematic of more than 100?
