Thread: W/New patch CM's can heal mind!!!!
in the patch notes and on test center Combat medics will be able to heal mind and doctors wont. we will also be able to drop medcenters anywhere.
It's on the 4th tier of their Speed Healing line.
If CM take Doc skill to get rez, I'm pretty sure Doc can take CM skill to get mind heal.
But that doesn't mean I'm gonna be nice about it.
If you want Doc to get Mind heal before this patch hit live, mosy on over to Test Center and give your reason why Doc should (beside just because)

Since when? Certainly not in combat situations which is exactly what the combat medic is designed for(hence the name). No, doctor is the support class and deserves the support ability. If you truly want to balance out the CM, as in give them another ability that a doc doesn't have, then give them napalm or something(where it inflicts a fire dot effect on desired opponent). You forget that a master CM will beat a master Doctor every single time they fight. That's how it's supposed to be. CM is a combat class designed for combat abilities while Doctor is a support class designed for support abilities. There is no logic behind giving CM's mind heals besides the fact that they have nothing else in that column.

Sorry I disagree. I am Master Doc and Master CM and if you have played since release you would know CM's have always been second to Doc's. CM's when the game released had broken AOE's, broken ranged packs, and our crafting was even broken. To this day we still have broken AOE's and broken components. Every healer practically went doctor, and with good reason....revive...buffs....cures. You are the group saver, Doctors have amazing abilities.
Your arguing that CM's are more combat and that healing mind is more doc releated...ok fine. If thats the case you get mind healing, give CM's revive or buffs in return and take it from Doctors. Doctors have at least 2 powerful abilities that CM's do not and CM's were due for something to close that gap...this is it. I cant revive as a CM, I cant buff as a CM, I cant cure poisons or diseases as a CM. But you want mind healing too?
Combat medics recieve bonuses to terrain negotiation, now it seems they will be gaining the ability to heal mind. Combat medics due the the ranged line in marksman gain defence and specials. A Master Doctor gains none of these abilities.
How about some nice new abilities or defences for a Master Doctor, perhap poison/disease resists, mind regen bonus, survery skill otherwise thanks for making a Master Doctor more of a crafting class. As it seems the benefit of being a Master Doctor is the ability to make Enhance packs for the secondary stat.
Let us beat the devs senseless until we get new abilities or skills, as opposed to crying foul.
