ok, this might just be the thing that puts me over the edge as far as quitting public buffing...maybe even the game.
I decided to do a little buffing this fine sunday inside the coronet sp. Basically, the same jerk continually summoned my droid while i was buffing customers. Needless to say, this makes a hard job even harder by adding one more complication. I reported him to the CSR's, but it continued to happen to me and every doc in the starport...even got a screenshot with him dragging around about 10 droids.
Here is my rant...WHY ON EARTH ARE THE DEVS AND CSRS continiuing to let this happen?? This bug has been in the game for months and yet nothing has been done about it. Check my post history, this is the very first criticism you will find from me of the devsor csrs. But this is just ridiculous, how can you justify letting a single player so easily ruin the game for the doctors and ALL of their customers.
Will someone wake up and do something about this already?!?

I reported someone doing that to another doc earlier this week. The response I got from CSR was that they are aware of the issue, but there is nothing to be done at this time since this is not a bug or an exploit.
basically....they are not going to do anything at all.
I saw a doc that informed his line (about 10 or so ppl) that he had to quit due to the person /summoning his droid away. He informed the line of the name of the guy. From what I understand....several of the people in that line proceeded to harrass the offender the rest of the night.

That happened to me too. If you command your droid to "stay", they can't summon it.

/stay only works for a little bit, if the ahole keeps spamming the summon command than the droid will break its stay command with you. i wonder if you can run a /stay; /macro stay; in order to keep the doid with you. you can also try follow me command. regardless it is ridiculas that the CSRs and DEVs leave it ingame, i dont see why they just cant completly remove it, what purpose does it server?

This is a myth.
Droids can/will be summoned away even if the stay command has been issued

I did receive a response from the CSR on this one -- A nicely done form letter stating that they will look into it blah blah...
I did quit buffing after this guy summoned my droid about 4 times. He was running around the starport with 6 droids following him /yelling "look at my jedi mind trick!"
I was pretty upset whenI wrote the thread and I still am. This type of griefing directly interferes with our ability as Doctors to run our business. For some strange reason, Its been allowed to continue unchecked. Even though it affetcs many more people than just the Doctors, it seems to be perfectly acceptable.
There have been talks of a strike because of rude customers, undervalued buff prices, ect... As far as I'm concerned, its all a moot point now. I refuse to buff a soul except for guildies untill someone steps up and adresses this issue.
New afk message: "I could easily buff you, but I wont because some loser will probably get a kick out of stealing my droid while im doing it and its just not worth the frustration"

make a macro named: follow
put this in it
/tellpet follow
/macro follow
teach your droid the follow command.

This bug is still here because we aren't jedi...if jedi had to use droids and got those griefed, it would be changed the next day. anyone disagree?

The devs are also aware of the issue, but it's unknown when a fix will be available.
